23.01.2022 After a very quiet year on Facebook, ADIAR is back with some exciting news and updates. ADIAR is now trialing an afterschool recreation program at Burwood East Special Developmental School. We have named it the DUCKPOND, the DUCKPOND currently runs 3 afternoons a week, from 3pm-6pm. Due to its popularity we already have plans to expand the program in the near future. The first ever ADIAR fun filled school holiday program will also run during the Term 1 school holidays which e...veryone is looking forward too. We would also like to announce the recommencement of the Employee of the Month program. This month we celebrate India Brown who has taken on a Team Leader role in the DUCKPOND program this year. India is proving to have great leadership skills, is enthusiastic and has a great can do attitude, meaning she is always prepared to do that little extra to help out. We thank India for all her hard work and ongoing dedication to ADIAR.

12.01.2022 ADIAR are proud to announce our Employee Of The Month for April. Congratulations go to Bronwyn Watson! A valued member of the ADIAR team, in addition to her role as a Support Worker Bron has recently begun working in Administration in the ADIAR office. We received some lovely feedback from one of Bron's clients recently. She described Bron as "showing initiative, having a great ability to 'read the room' and know what I need" and that Bron "is able to fit in really well anyw...here she comes with me". ADIAR commends Bron for her ability to 'think outside the box', this was demonstrated recently when Bron suggested that her client may really enjoy doing Diamond Painting as a mindfulness activity. With Bron's support the client has since started the activity and from all reports is loving it and finding it very beneficial. We thank Bronwyn for all her hard work and ongoing dedication to ADIAR.
