24.01.2022 This article highlights how invaluable a mortgage broker can be in helping you achieve your financial goals. Sometimes even when your loan has been declined. Scenario: I had a client with an existing housing loan that wanted a loan increase to complete some non-structural home improvements. Due to a default that had been lodged on his Veda (Credit) file the Lender ,that he had been with for 15 years, declined the loan. He wasn't aware of the default being lodged however he had paid out this debt and had confirmation of this. I was able to refinance the loan plus the increase with a "Specialist" Lender. The client ,while disappointed that his original Lender wouldn't assist him, was ecstatic that I was able to offer him a solution.
