The traditional service was filmed in the church at Fitzgeralds Valley. Please excuse the noise of the wind in background.... The contemporary service was filmed in our home. For the contemporary service, you are invited to have your own bread and wine ready to share at the appropriate time as we ‘do this in remembrance’ of Jesus who died and rose again for us. 19.01.2022 Dear brothers and sisters, The traditional service is from the Book of Common Prayer and was filmed at Tarana. The contemporary service was filmed locally at Windradyne and as the weather was bad, I filmed the sermon and prayers indoors at home. Thanks to Jennie Palmer from the parish of Wellington for bringing our Bible reading/s this week and to Carl for filming and facilitating. 05.01.2022 SUNDAY SERVICES FOR 27TH SEPTEMBER This Sunday we deal with Jesus’ parable of two sons one who promised they would work in his father’s vineyard but never showed up, and the other who said ‘no’ he wouldn’t work in the vineyard, but then changed his mind and went and worked. What was Jesus on about and what does it mean for us? The orders of service, the prayers and the Bible readings are attached. Both the contemporary and traditional services were filmed in our Cathedral i...n Bathurst. 03.01.2022 Dear brothers and sisters, SUNDAY SERVICES FOR 4th October This Sunday we continue to see Jesus dealing with the whole issue of the refusal of the religious people to see who Jesus is and turn to him as we look at the parable of the tenants in the vineyard. The vineyard of course picks up Isaiah’s imagery of Israel as God’s vineyard. This is a powerful and disturbing parable and we cannot help but deal with Jesus’ teaching that the kingdom will be taken away from Israel and ...give to those who will bear its fruit. Both the contemporary and traditional services were filmed outdoors, near where Susan and I live in Windradyne.
