21.01.2022 WA’s largest Careers & Employment Event was held last week from October 22 to 24. The Expo hosted over 80 organisations and employers with career opportunities for all ages. The event was for school students, parents, graduates, job seekers, people looking for courses and workers seeking new training options. AWE were there to seek out the future boilermakers, HD Fitters and engineers of the world and our team were more than willing to discuss opportunities that the industry ...has on offer. The team in our Perth facility reversed engineered and designed the full wear package, cut out and replaced the entire floor on the clamshell, completed all crack repairs, linebored, manufactured pins/bushes and finished it off with a beautiful paint job! 18.01.2022 Weekend was busy for our Perth workshop as they dispatched our first Le Tourneau L2350 bucket refurbishment. The 31 tonne bucket has recieved a new lease on life and is now onsite ready to get back to work. Well done team, bucket looks fantastic!

18.01.2022 AWE's general manager Lee Illingworth has just wrapped up a trip in the Pilbara spending the week with the team in our Newman workshop. The team were hard at it all week, but Lee pulled them up this morning and put a BBQ breakfast on at the daily pre-start. Great way to finish the week off!

16.01.2022 All West Engineering were engaged for the design, engineering and shop detailing of the Recycle & Tailings tanks at Weipa. This project involved many of our design services, from the initial site visit and 3D scanning, tank redesign to increase the maximum volume within the available space in the area, shop detail drawings and consideration for transport. These tanks have now been installed and its great to see them in action!

16.01.2022 The team at All West Engineering are proud to announce that we have commenced our first job in our new workshop in Perth. Over the last 12 months weve been searching for a suitable premises to house our engineering team, along with our tradespeople to begin to build our presence in the Perth market, and we are pretty happy with what we found! The facility comprises of - 1400sqm workshop with 2 x 20T overhead cranes and full welding fume extraction system;... 340sqm wash down bay with oily separator and water reclaim system, hot and cold pressure washing with maximum pressure of 250bar; 312sqm blast booth that utilises steel shot media and full reclaim system, sealed booth with dust extraction, ventilation system and 2 x 10t cranes; 340sqm sealed paint booth with full extraction and ventilation system. With the focus being offsite refurbishments of mobile and fixed plant equipment to, structural, mechanical and piping fabrication, we are excited about adding such a unique workshop to our portfolio and can now increase our service offerings to our existing loyal customers, and of course welcoming any new clients to the All West family in Perth!

14.01.2022 We are saddened by the fires that continue to burn across our country. Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we are proud of the people who are fighting to save lives and homes. All West Engineering are standing by fellow companies and pledging $10,000 to the Australian Red Cross to help with the evacuation and recovery efforts. Their work for the people and our communities is incredible.

11.01.2022 All West Engineering have been awarded the fabrication of the Nammuldi Laboratory Platforms and Civil Works. This project is to replace the existing scaffolding required for maintenance activities around the dust collector and waste bin. Our design team 3D scanned the existing location of the services and plant to ensure the shop detailing package produced internally would be fit for purpose. Engineering and drafting is now completed, and it is over to the workshop team to fabricate.

10.01.2022 ****All West Engineering is on the move**** We are currently locating to a new facility in Perth that is going to bring together our engineering and trades team under the one roof! We are all very excited and will be sharing more information on this in the coming weeks.

10.01.2022 EX3600 Boom refurbishment update from the Newman workshop. After receiving the OEM's repair procedure the team have commenced all internal upgrades on the boom, which includes crack repairs and blending of existing welds. 08.01.2022 AWE's Newman branch took possession of our first haul truck tray refurbishment since we opened the branch in 2017. After a few modifications to the yard and entry point, it fitted in just nicely. This is tray number 1 of 6 that our team will be refurbishing locally for our client. Their aim to keep this work local to the Pilbara is certainly welcomed by all companies involved in the program.

03.01.2022 AWE's shut team have been hard at it over the past two weeks completing a major component change out on a EX3600 Digger in the North West. Our team of HD Fitters and Lineborers have been working around the clock to dismantle, carry out all scheduled maintenance and re-assembled the machine. Well done to all contractors and also our client on a successful major shut with all works being conducted on-time and most importantly, safely! #pilbara #teamwork

03.01.2022 This week, AWEs Mechanical team were tasked with rebuilding a Sizer for a valued client in the North West. The team were required to replace one of the sizers primary shafts which included full disassembly & reassembly of the machine.The job was completed ahead of schedule and most important, safely!
