15.01.2022 Friends and pet owners please be aware that there have been confirmed cases of Parvovirus in the Lismore area. Canine parvovirus is a severe viral infection whi...ch causes depression, loss of appetite and a sudden onset of profuse smelly bloody diarrhoea, vomiting and fever. This can lead to severe dehydration and death. Puppies 6 weeks to six months and unvaccinated dogs are most susceptible to Parvo. Please make sure your dogs vaccinations are up to date. If you have a young puppy who has only just been vaccinated, be cautious and wait at least 2 weeks for their vaccinations to come into full effect before you visit public place.
