We took the sea kayaks out and headed around toward Wellington Point. As always they love the bouncing and spray of the choppy waters and of course the surfing back in

15.01.2022 A few days ago, I heard from a bubbly lady who did some paddling about 8 years ago, made comment about how she went in circles, and really wanted to do it again. Thing is...she only has one hand. Well, into action I was. I gathered a few items that came to mind that could possibly help make this happen.. ... This morning Michelle went kayaking, a dream she had nearly put aside. We made it happen. Michelle made it happen. Michelle took part in a program that I had with 4 other amazing women. It was a day with laughs, successes, new things and one that has started several ladies on their paddling pathways ! Awesome. X good work ladies. Most things are possible when you are determined.

15.01.2022 Wednesday's at wynnum...we decided for an adventure day this week and headed up the creek with mangroves we love to paddle on high tide.....although this time it was low tide.......mud is fun.

07.01.2022 The kids Yesterday afternoon at Sandgate each had to each give me a goal for their session. So proud of Gameela who moved into a racing kayak! Sam worked on his towing, Isaac worked on being towed........Layla and Camden finally got some well timed paddling in the double, Ben explored the mangroves and Rosina and Euan went to explore the no camping flat by the reef in Nundah Creek. Something for everyone...i love variety. Joelie wasn't well and Jayda couldn't make it. We missed them both

02.01.2022 This year Gameela started paddling with our junior group at Shorncliffe. On her first day, Gameela was literally....freaking out and was quite hesitant at every movement the water and her kayak made. She survived the first session and came back for more. The next week her Mum told me how much Gameela was loving kayaking. She stuck at it, has a bunch of laughs and crazy fun and a few weeks ago Gameela made it into a racing kayak and now finds the more waves and choppiness the better fun ! That's why this year Gameela earned the Sandgate Paddling Club Inc. Most Improved Junior paddlers of 2020. Good work Gameela I'm very proud of you.

01.01.2022 Today these amazing women were in training for their next adventure race. First a session on technique in racing kayaks..(No pics) followed by a reality session.....what they are likely to paddle in an adventure race.
