24.01.2022 The Answer - by Allan & Barbara Pease
24.01.2022 My tip for anyone who might want to start an R U OK? conversation is to just do it. Take a deep breath and ask the question. You don’t need to have all the ans...wers. Just letting that person know that you care and that they are worthy of being cared about is sometimes enough. Have the Lifeline and Mental Health Line numbers stored in your phone or wallet, in case you feel it’s out of your depth, but most importantly just listen and be there for that person. R U OK? Ambassador Lisa Nichols shares her tip for starting a conversation that could change a life. #theresmoretosay #ruokday #ruokeveryday

13.01.2022 In 1665 Isaac Newton was then a student of Cambridge University, suddenly locked out of the university campus and sent home while the Bubonic Plague ravaged the... country. It was during his time at home that Newton came up with his theories of Calculus, and Optics, and famously discovered the Law of Gravity. >>If he had never been in home isolation, he may never have discovered these things.<< Here's the point: when things are really tough, most people think about what they don't want to happen, what they can't do, and how bad things are. In the current crisis, we each have to manage our circumstances as best we can. >>BUT keep in mind the situation will pass.<< We'll have a brand new world with new opportunities and if you choose to keep your mind open, you'll be able to see them as they emerge. Choose to think about what you CAN do and avoid being distracted by the negativity around you... it will stop you from being productive. Instead, learn a new skill, find a new career path, work on the things you haven't had time for until now. >>Be ready for the opportunities that you can't see today... they are coming.<<
