21.01.2022 A fantastic first show back for us since February at the SHCV Classic! Our beautiful baby of the team Gordon Park Backstreet Boy, gained his golden ticket to Grand Nationals, being equal Champion Childs Galloway, then runner-up on a count back! Piloted beautifully by Sabrina Gilmour He was then also 3rd in the Open Small Galloway, along with Gordon Park Sophie’s Choice who worked beautifully to make the Top 10! 12.01.2022 2020 BARASTOC HORSE OF THE YEAR Finally have taken the time to get some photos from a very enjoyable and successful Barastoc (Better late than never..!) The baby of the team ‘Gordon Park Backstreet Boy’ wowing us once again by taking out ‘CHAMPION NEWCOMER SMALL GALLOWAY OF THE YEAR’, and then on the Sunday went out against the seasoned horses in the Open Small Galloway and and gained his ticket to EA NATIONALS at only his second big show show George is just gett...ing better and better and we can’t wait for him to represent Victoria in December! Gordon Park Sophie’s Choice was also Top 10 in the Open Small Galloway of The Year and B Famous was Top 10 in the Open Small Hack of The year! We were also lucky enough to have the ever Gorgeous Belle become our little strapper for the weekend! (Big thanks to Emma & Tom for coming and cheering on Allambah!) 03.01.2022 SHCV Horse Of The Year 2021 It was fantastic to be back out in the ring at our first show for the 2021 season! This time we only took a small team, consisting of Gordon Park Tigerlily, Gordon Park Sophie’s Choice and Gordon Park Backstreet Boy, whom all worked their hearts out in the respective classes and made us very proud producers We have been truely overwhelmed by all the amazing the comments and phone calls about all 3 of our Galloway’s over the weekend! ... Once again the baby of the team ‘Gordon Park Backstreet Boy’ (George) didn’t put a foot wrong all weekend: Runner-Up Childs Galloway of the Year 3rd in the Ladies Park Hack of the Year (against the small hacks) Took Sabrina Gilmour to claim Champion Junior Rider of The Year 9-12 George is proving himself to be a superstar just like his siblings! However, Perhaps our most fairy tale story of the show, was with ‘Gordon Park Tigerlily’ (Miley) Runner-up Large Galloway of The Year This win was extremely special to us, with Miley having on been back in work for 3 weeks. Towards the end of last year Miley was diagnosed with an illness and what test results showed most likely as cancer. We were given the devastating news she was expected to only have a short amount of time to live. The ultimatum was to either let her live her days out at home or go ahead with a very risky (50/50 chance of survival) surgery. It was decided that we would do everything in our power to save her. However in the weeks leading up to her planned surgery appointment, On New Year’s Day, miraculously Miley turned the corner and beat the odds! We could not be prouder of our teams efforts over the weekend and big thanks must go to all those involved behind the scenes Another big Thank-you to all of the event sponsors and to SHCV for running such a fantastic event.
