21.01.2022 This Mothers Day, and every day, our hearts are with every mum who knows the pain of loss.

18.01.2022 Thank you for the beautiful memorial. I was so pleased with the work you do to maintain it and have received several compliments. Your team was so kind and compassionate throughout. It was very much appreciated. Thank you again, for everything, This is a lovely thank you note to our grounds team. Today on World Gratitude Day, we want to recognise the ongoing commitment and dedication our grounds team have to the work that they do. One of the most heartbreaking effects of the community crisis is preventing friends and family from saying goodbye to their loved ones the way they were used to. Our Cemetery grounds team are often the last to say goodbye to someones grandparent, mother, father, sibling, friend. They do this work with dignity, respect and care. We thank you for this.

09.01.2022 The significance of a sprig of rosemary being worn on Anzac Day dates back to World War I. Native to the seaside regions of the Mediterranean, rosemary grows wild on the slopes of the Gallipoli Peninsula. Tradition has it that a wounded Digger brought home a small rosemary bush from Anzac Cove, which was planted in the grounds of the Army Hospital at Keswick, South Australia. Cuttings from this original plant were taken and propagated in nurseries all over Australia, and sprigs of rosemary are worn to this day by attendees at Anzac Day ceremonies as a fragrant reminder of the fallen.

09.01.2022 Thank you today and every day to more than 9000 Celebrants in Australia who provide a service to the community for Weddings, Funerals, Memorials Services, Naming Ceremonies and other life celebrations.

08.01.2022 Moving through 2020 has presented challenges for all. During these times it is important to remember to be thankful for the things in life that bring us joy, no matter how small - a flower blooming outside your window; a call from a friend; time spent getting lost in a favourite novel; or simply taking a walk through your garden. It is recognising these simple pleasures and being grateful for them that help us continue through. What are you grateful for? - World Gratitude Day 2020

08.01.2022 Mothers Day can be incredibly difficult if youve lost your mum. Many make the journey to the cemetery to honour mum with flowers. But this year things are going to be different. If you cant make that journey this year, order your flowers from our creative floral artists at Earl-E-Blooms and they will place them at mums memorial.... We cant be together this Mothers Day, but we can still be thankful.

04.01.2022 From our team to your family and friends, wishing you all happy and safe Easter.

04.01.2022 Physical distancing is having an impact on how funerals are conducted and the participation of mourners. Sending flowers is a simple, yet meaningful gesture. If you cant be present at funeral service, you can send comfort, show care, from wherever you are. You can send them to the funeral home, the cemetery or the home of the bereaved and include a note to express your condolences and sadness for not being able to attend. The beauty of flowers is an ideal way to express your feelings and provide healing for a loved one.

01.01.2022 Last Friday, Gold Coast Catholics flocked to Allambe Memorial Park, to pay homage to the relics of a French saint during a stopover on their four-month pilgrimage of Australia organised by the Catholic Mission. The relics of St Thrse of Lisieux, and those of her parents Saint Louis Martin and Saint Zlie Martin, were exhibited on the day. The four-month national pilgrimage is the first time in 18 years the relics are visiting Australia and Allambe Memorial Park is one of only a handful of non-denominational memorial parks chosen to host them. The relics arrived in a hearse from George Hartnett Metropolitan Funerals, which was entrusted with transporting them through the greater Brisbane and Gold Coast regions Find out more here... https://www.catholicmission.org.au//st-th%C3%A9r%C3%A8se-o
