14.01.2022 Hi everyone Tips to help keep your fitness up at home. This is friend of mine. Richard and I went to Uni together . He can still do a one legged squat (both legs). Not bad for an "ld" bloke. Thanks for the video Richard.

12.01.2022 Active Kids Rebate Vouchers Acting Minister of Sport, Dr Geoff Lee MP, has released the following statement: The NSW Government can now confirm that Active Kids... Providers may retain the funding from vouchers that have already have been redeemed where a program has been cancelled due to COVID-19 or a recipient has been unable to continue with the program. The NSW Government is committed to assisting all organisations, including sport and active recreation providers, to keep jobs and maintain business continuity. The Office of Sport encourages all providers to examine options to deliver alternatives to existing programs that may be affected by COVID-19. This may include extension, delayed commencement or additional programs that satisfy Active Kids Provider Terms and Conditions. Any additional or alternate program delivery is not the responsibility of the NSW Government. Furthermore, if parents were to seek redress for a voucher service not being claimed, it would be up to the provider to provide an additional/alternative service, not the Government. Active Kids vouchers remain valid until 31 December and the second voucher will become available to parents from 1 July to 31 December. #mwna2020 #activekids

11.01.2022 Dear Members, The committee wanted to provide you an update on the current position of the 2020 netball competition, as we are sure you are curious to what has been going on behind the scenes. MWNA held a COVID-19 Zoom meeting on Monday 30th March to discuss the various options and pathways forward for the 2020 netball season. Netball NSW will be holding a meeting on the 15th April to discuss what the competition could look like if the government were to at some point allow ...us to start a competition this year. The Allambie committee are quite certain the competition will not start in May as originally planned. There are three options on the table at present: extending the start of the competition a reduced week competition not to proceed Again, we will know more after the 15th April and will have processes in place to to ensure we are ready to action. We are waiting on confirmation from NNSW and MWNA in relation to a complete refund of fees (we are also waiting to see how the active kids voucher will be redeemed). This will become clearer after 15th April. We are lobbying for a full refund - then a new fee structure set to match a revised competition. Allambie Netball Club have our players health and safety at the forefront on any future decisions and will endeavor to update you as soon as information is available to us. Every day there is something new to consider and timelines are fluid at this point. We all miss netball, but we all need to do whats right for our community. If there is a "season" we will notify you, and your coaches will be ready to get us in shape for the season. Until we know more we wish you and your families good health. PS. Reminder all the players out there; To the shooters - you can still shoot 100 goals a day, your coaches will be impressed! To the mid courters - get out there and do some sprints and change of direction, keep the fitness up! To the defenders - defend your parents/ siblings from lounge room to the fridge, to the bathroom, to bed. Stop them from getting there! Everyone- enjoy walks and other healthy activities with your family. Stay safe
