10.01.2022 ARCHIVES: c1980. THE DAY I MET THE YORKSHIRE RIPPER. In 1980 I toured the British media with the success of my UK book, Body Language. In Manchester, I spent time in the Green Room at Piccadilly Radio with Peter Sutcliffe, The Yorkshire Ripper. He was protesting harassment by the police as he had been arrested m any times on suspicion of murder. I jokingly said to him, "I suppose we are both talking about Body language!" I laughed - he didn't. I then photographed the Welcome Board as I left. I promised myself I'd reveal this story when he died.

06.01.2022 I'm a Victorian (from Lorne) who moved to Queensland 21 years ago to escape the cold. The Queensland locals have their own language here. Some of this lingo can be heard in rural Australia, but Queenslanders excel at it. Here's a translation guide I've assembled to help visitors. Have I missed anything? 05.01.2022 ARCHIVES: c 1985. My USA mate Mark Hansen came to stay with me in Sydney. He proposed Barb and I co-author a new book idea with him. So we went to stay with Mark in Los Angeles to consider the idea. Barb liked it, I was so-so about it. We eventually passed on it. Mark finally wrote and published it in 1993 and it so far has sold 600,000,000 copies. Do you know the name of this book?
