Please please please donate! Every little bit helps and hopefully we can again assist in making it another record breaking year! 16.01.2022 How good does the Ubergang oval look!! With work done on drainage on the oval it means we are still able to mow!! And at this time of year it’s a great improvement. Thankyou and well done to also those involved, with a special thanks to Mick Kavanagh for donating the sand to make it all possible.

13.01.2022 Another perfect winter morning at the Allansford Recreation Reserve Farm with volunteers busy with many jobs. Stock agent, Jack Kelly visited to inspect the steers, after which they were shifted into a fresh paddock. The calves were fed, and additional donated calves from the Rea and Ryan families were collected to add to the herd. The farm track was also being patched!! 08.01.2022 I can’t believe this is something that needs to be posted, but it appears it needs to be. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE clean up after your dog and respect our grounds. It’s not hard. And it makes us volunteers life a little easier to keep the oval looking as good as it does!

01.01.2022 HEAVY RAIN LEADS TO MORE FLOODING IN ALLANSFORD. By Liam FItzgerald Allansford Residents were sandbagging at 3:30am while SES and CFA crews were called in to... assist, as heavy rain caused flooding in Ziegler Parade overnight. Drains near the Allansford Hotel began overflowing at around 9pm causing nearby houses to be affected. The first call to the SES was recieved around midnight, while the Warrnambool City Council supplied two loads of sand, one at 2:00am and another at 4:15am. Resident Eddy White told FitZ Media a total of ten houses have been affected but luckily no major damage has been sustained so far. He says no one has been evacuated, but issued a callout to nearby residents to assist with sandbagging if they could. Residents have been helping fill sandbags since the flooding began to threaten nearby homes. Anyone available to help sandbag is urged to do so. Warrnambool has recorded more than 43mm of rain since 8pm Wednesday night, as a severe weather front passes over the region.
