25.01.2022 Today I'm not posting a photo of Bushfires. I'm posting a photo of one of the beautiful beaches I love. Why? Well if there's one thing you can do to help commun...ities that have suffered, it's this: go there. Go there and stay at a holiday home, motel or B&B. Go there and spend money in restaurants, cafes and shops. Go there and give the people the hope that they've lost just by turning up. Go there and share images that will bring others back. The fires may have devastated bricks and mortar but the loss of tourism is the second killer for our rural communities. The weeks and months that businesses rely on to survive are burning away like so many of those bushfires. So please, please, after the fires have died down: go there. Please go there soon.
