25.01.2022 #freecampfriday and #flashbackfriday all rolled into one. This time last year we had just set up at Bethungra Dam which is about 20 kilometres from Cootamundra in NSW. It has been one of our favourite spots to date. Large flat sites to set up on, plenty of wide open space where you can go for a walk, very clean long drop toilet, picnic shelters and fires permitted (seasonal) Free camps don't get much better!

The Museum will open its doors to the public with free general admission for visitors to enjoy the newly revamped public spaces. There are two major exhibitions on show for the reopening a special, ticketed exhibition, Tyrannosaurs Meet the Family and Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year which is free as part of reopening. https://australian.museum/

17.01.2022 I know I'm a little bit naughty but I couldn't resist this doona cover. Great way to give the van a fresh new look for summer. #feelslikehome #homeiswhereweparkit #vanlifeau #caravanlife #caravanning #caravanningaustralia #lifeontheroad #allaroundoz

15.01.2022 #flashbackfriday - This time last year we were set up in the gorgeous country NSW town of Coolamon. Fabulous caravan park - just $20 a night, short walk to the main street and some good foodie spots. Close to Wagga and Junee. https://allaroundoz.com.au/2019/12/18/coolamon-nsw/

13.01.2022 Some of you would know that we are currently working the grain season in Central West NSW. We are both working 6 days a week and Brenden is doing 12 or more hours every day. Today is our day off. Two loads of washing on and Brenden cooked breakfast. Grocery shopping later then the afternoon to relax!

08.01.2022 On the blog tonight is our October expense report. We had some car trouble but still didn't blow the budget! https://allaroundoz.com.au//11/expense-report-october-2020/

07.01.2022 Who else loves clean sheet day? I have two doona covers in the van. Both are reversible which makes it easy to change the look and make our little house a home. https://allaroundoz.com.au//how-to-make-your-caravan-feel/

06.01.2022 Some country road adventures today. So good to be back on the road again. #countryroads #dustyroad #backontheroad #caravanning #caravanningaustralia #vanlifeau #lifeontheroad #allaroundoz

06.01.2022 And yes we were both up in time to see it!

05.01.2022 #300days When we returned to the Gold Coast at the start of Covid we stopped counting our 'days on the road' and restarted the count when we left at the start of August. We have now spent 300 days living our dream life, working and travelling. So hard to choose the highlights of that time but here are a few spots we have loved.

04.01.2022 Great time to grab yourself some EzyAnchor screw in pegs. We love ours...they haven't let us down yet!

04.01.2022 Small gathering at Narromine Rockwall Tourist Park to celebrate Melbourne Cup Day. BBQ lunch, some champers and the chance to put a dress on!

03.01.2022 We have just spent a week camped at the Cowra (NSW) Showground. Great area. Plenty of level, spacious sites, with power and water. Clean and tidy grounds and amenities. Laundry with one machine ($4) and new covered camp kitchen. Dump point as well. Limited road noise. Occasional waft of horse manure from nearby stables but really not an issue. But best of all it's just $20 a night or $100 for a week. Can generally set up wherever you like and the caretaker Barry will come around about 5.00pm to collect fees. Cash only.

01.01.2022 #flashbackfriday - Two years ago we were getting ready to embark on our leg of the Let's Go Caravan and Camping Follow the Sun Relay. We did the Adelaide to Melbourne leg and it was just the best fun! We visited the Barossa Valley, Renmark, Swan Hill, Echuca and Bendigo and lots of awesome spots in between!
