23.01.2022 Here we have a job recently completed by All Aussie Flooring, and the timber here is Blackbutt.
18.01.2022 If you are looking at renovating or repairing your property, and you are looking at painting your house and are wanting your floors refurbished, or new flooring installed, then I highly suggest that you leave your painting to last, or at least the skirtings. The reason for this is because with any floor that is been sanded you have to sand right up to the edge with a heavy machine called an edger, which will knock up against your skirtings, which will in turn possibly mark, o...r chip away the paint, and also with the coating having to go right up to the edge, coating will get on the skirtings as well and the skirtings will have to be sanded back a bit then touched up with paint after the floor is completed. The best possible care is taken to limit this, but this is something that can't be avoided. The best solution for this I feel is, if you can remove your skirtings, or paint them at the last stage. I would also recommend painting walls etc. last of all as sometimes the drum sander can touch walls when your close to the edges. To me this is the best common sense approach, and method to ensure a really good finish, for your floor, and the painted surfaces as well. See more
13.01.2022 Here we have a typical Baltic Pine floor. This timber has a lot of character, and a unique grain. The difference between Baltic, and normal pine is no knots which can result in holes in your floor. There are also pictures of the floor where 3 quarters of the floor is sanded, but the other quarter is not, showing the dirt and paint etc. still on it. This can give you a good guide of how a average looking floor can still come up looking fantastic.
12.01.2022 Arguably one of the best timber species for flooring going around, Jarrah. These shots are of the before and after of a floor just completed by All Aussie Flooring.
05.01.2022 Have a look at the following photos of a floor just completed by Rozewood Flooring, which shows you the damage the sun can do to a timber floor, but even so not all is lost. With a good re-sand and re-coat, you can bring your floor back to it's original flooring. So for any enquiries feel free to message us at All Aussie or call the number provided.
