18.01.2022 Since the bushfires in September (seems like a hundred years ago with everything Covid now), we’ve been taking a part of print jobs and donating to get trees planted. The bushfires destroyed about 25 million acres of land (that’s a bit bigger than South Korea). So we’re going to need more trees. Not just now, but for a while. 05.01.2022 I'm really proud that the Rotary Club of Seaford is prepared to invest strongly in promotional inventory. I have spoken and written about this on many occasions... - i.e. the importance of promoting Rotary, promoting your club, promoting your projects and telling the world what we do. Unfortunately many clubs will not spend a cent to promote themselves, and the whole organisation suffers because the general public don't understand what we're about. We have recently embarked upon our largest ever project; the building of a medical clinic in Mbale, Uganda. This will involve numerous fundraising activities over the next few years, and our board decided it was worth investing in this pull-up banner to use with all of our fundraising initiatives. It cost us $225 including about $100 worth of artwork by a graphic design professional. And there's another tip. If you don't have the design skillset in your club, sometimes it's worth paying a professional to give you some options.
