NDIS participants and providers in South Australia will temporarily be able to directly claim the costs of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including face masks.... We are also reaching out to connect and check-in with vulnerable participants, to ensure they continue to have supports in place and offering phone or online planning meetings during lockdown. Lovingly known as Pluto, he lives with Huntington’s disease and is well known in the small town of Kununurra in far north Western Australia on the eastern fringe of the Kimberley.... He is busy achieving his life goals and dreams, and doing the things he has always enjoyed. With support from the NDIS he is now more independent, accessing funding in his plan for Supported Independent Living (SIL). 08.01.2022 From this Thursday 24 September, the border restriction with New South Wales will be lifted. This means people entering South Australia from New South Wales fr...om that date will no longer need to quarantine for 14 days. People currently in quarantine and people arriving between now and midnight tomorrow will still have to complete the full 14 day quarantine period. This is because people who have arrived in the preceding 14 days present a different health risk. E.g. If you arrive tomorrow, 23 September, you will need to remain in quarantine until 6 October. E.g. If you have been in quarantine since 14 September, you will need to remain in quarantine until 29 September.
