25.01.2022 Well we had the Pop Up Farmer's Market today. Unfortunately due to a few stall holders unable to make it we were a lot smaller than originally planned and the weather was not on our side. Despite all of this I want to thank those stall holders who froze their b.... off to bring their goods to you. Got you out of the house for awhile.

25.01.2022 Coriander sativum "Chinese Parsley" Do you fail with growing this beautiful annual herb. If you are saying yes I bet you are trying to grow it in summer. In summer it will bolt to seed as soon as a hot day hits. The very best growing time is Autumn through to Spring and yes this does include winter. Available now at the nursery $4 a pot.

24.01.2022 Jerusalem artichoke available at the Nursery now. $5 for 500gm eat them or plant them. Opening hours 10.00am to 4.00pm Wednesday to Sunday

22.01.2022 Hi all Should have got on here earlier to let you know I have no market today so the Nursery is open 10.00am to 4.00pm Tomatoes are now reduced to $2 each. I have also reduced French Beans and Yellow Beans to $2 nothing wrong with either just had a but of a glutz due to Covid19 and lack of markets. Regards Rebecca

19.01.2022 Winter has started with a few frosty mornings. As most of you know I do not do winter markets, herbs in pots start to look a little ordinary and some go semi dormant. Everyone has already got their vegetable seedlings in and I don't seed more due to lack of demand. I will return to markets in spring and hopefully back to where we were before Covid19 As of 8th June 2020 the nursery will still operate however, the sign will not be out, and the gate will be locked so please phon...e (0411) 551550 before venturing out so as not have a wasted trip. I had not said I was not returning however he has forced my decision to go to Riddells Creek Farmers Market in place of Creswick. 13.01.2022 Before it gets to late I'm just reminding all my customers over Macedon Ranges way that I am at Woodend Farmers Market tomorrow 9.00am to 1.00pm strict Covid19 rules apply. I have available at the moment all your winter vegetable seedlings @ $4 a punnet/pot. 12.01.2022 Hi all, Welcome to the first day of spring. I've been a little silent over winter, busy working on my property to get it on the market by mid spring. Also going on in the background is seeding ready for new season's planting so I hope you have all taken advantage of any nice days preparing your patch. All going well the start of new seedlings will be available in the nursery within the next couple of weeks. They are just wee bit small to come out now. The early seedlings a...vailable are: Silverbeet Perpetual Beet Spinach Asian vegetables Peas; Snow, Sugar snap climbing and bush Towards the end of September the tomatoes will come out however, err to caution as Jack Frost is still around and just cold nights so they would need protection. October - November all the summer favorites Pumpkin, eggplant, zucchini, cucumber, beans. Happy gardening, I will keep you updated as things are available. Rebecca

09.01.2022 He all I have no other way to get it out there other than Facebook. However, it's really nice to know we still have a few honest people out there. Last Saturday the 1st August I took Puppy Poppy for a walk around Lake Wendouree. I had the need to visit the loo and took the phone out of my pocket so it wouldn't end up in the loo. Consequently I stupidly forgot it and it wasn't until the next loo stop that I realized I was missing it. I had finished my walk so we went straight... back but it had gone. When I got home I found my phone at the door with a note from Eileen but no phone number. Eileen drove from Ballarat to Allendale to return it. If you know an Eileen ask her if it was her and give her the biggest hug from me. I wasn't concerned about the phone it was all my photos and contacts so I am so happy to have it back. 05.01.2022 This Saturday 16th May I will be attending Riddells Creek Farmers Market. 9.00am to 1.00pm Creswick Market which is my local and normal for the 3rd Saturday have deemed that vegetable and herb seedlings are not classified as edible so have refused my attendance.

01.01.2022 Hi all, Well it's nice to say that this Saturday is my first market back for Spring. Kyneton Farmers Market 9.00am to 1.00pm Temporary venue at Kyneton Showgrounds.... Unfortunately Mother Nature has decided to turn cold and rain after the beautiful weather we have been having. Rug up and come out to support all those stall holders that have turned up for you.
