24.01.2022 ** Introducing Raven, Tigger, Milo, Luna & Nala ** These five gorgeous bubbas came to us last Sunday after they where found on a property in St Johns Park. Finder Lidija & her young son Jake were able to gather all these bubbas into a box & safely brought them into our care! Traps are to be set this weekend to try & catch mumma cat who has proven to be very timid! ... 15.01.2022 Bundy: Its been 4 days since his surgery & so far he’s being a good boy with his recovery! The first night was very hard for him & us! He was still sore so we gave him additional pain relief & iced the swelling. We have been icing his swelling each night with twice daily pain relief & he’s already looking a lot happier! Bundy is on strict cage / bed rest until his stitches come out but carer Josh has been so great with him. Bundy feels instant comfort when they are together...! Cases like Bundy is one of the many reasons why we do rescue. 08.01.2022 Our three newest arrivals this week are doing really well with their new foster mumma Ellie Mae. Ellie Mae came to us heavily pregnant on the first day of spring. She gave birth to three bubbas, two days after she was in care but sadly, two didn’t survive. With just one Bubba, ourselves & Ellie Mae were devastated with the loss. Her remaining bubba, now called Susie was also wanting some siblings to play with. ... Since we got our three newbies, Ellie Mae’s face lit up when she saw them. She instantly starting purring & grooming them! They are all feeding extremely well & Susie is pretty happy now to have some foster siblings to snuggle with!
