24.01.2022 It's just 3 weeks to go until the biggest and best All Ford Day show, and entries are filling fast, so don't leave it until the last moment.. It's on Sunday October 6th at Blue Steel Oval in Bassendean. Online entries can be filled in here.... http://www.afd.asn.au/index.php/online-entry... Or download a form and send it in.... http://www.afd.asn.au//doc_download/6-show-entry-form/file After you have filled in the online form, you should immediately receive an email from the AFD confirming your entry, and an email confirming your Paypal payment. If you do not see anything in your Inbox, then please check your Spam or Junk folders. Closer to the show, you will receive an email with your entry number, which needs to be printed and brought along on the day. For those who might be wondering what is involved to organise such an event, it starts with the supporters and sponsors. Here is just a small list. Chief Car Covers, Kustom Chrome, Dynamic Studios, America West, McInerney Ford, Superoo Falcon Spares, Frank’s Classic Garage, Deluxe Creations, Classic Car Storage, Mustang’s of Perth, BPT Motor sport, Shannon’s, Animal Rescue, Blind Dogs, GoKart, Perth Hobby. Then there are the regular meetings by a select committee. Firstly a venue must be secured, and this year it is back once again to Blue Steel Oval in Bassendean. There are plenty of things which need to be done so that the All Ford Day can run as smooth as possible. This is a sample of what goes on at these meetings and what needs to be followed up. Generator and PA system. Security hours 6pm Sat 6am Sun plus 10am 3pm Sunday Perpetual Trophy Entrant gifts Kitchen in operation Bar open Bins empty before the weekend and wheelie bins available Oval sprinklers OFF for Sat & Sunday Keys for Gates and Ablutions. Remember, it's just three weeks away. More information can be seen in the pinned post above.
22.01.2022 Emails are now going out with the layout for the show, and some basic instructions. Here is a copy of that email. We have just uploaded the layout for 2019 on our website. You'll find it here. http://www.afd.asn.au/index/downloads//34-layout-2019/file... This has been published to assist getting entrants in efficiently as possible. Please ensure you follow the directions of our traffic wardens on the day. We are fully subscribed this year, so there is basically no spare space. When parking your vehicles, ensure that there is no more than 1.8 metres between vehicles. Also ensure all vehicles are within the lines of the areas marked out. If you have a neighbouring club start parking vehicles 1 metre from the line between clubs. For clubs in the middle of the oval space has been allowed for 1 only 3m x 3m shade gazebo. Clubs on the outside perimeter can erect a shade gazebo on the outside of the fence. Remember all vehicles, display items and gazebos must be with the boundaries of the area marked out. We do need everyone to stick with these limitations to ensure we can get all vehicles and traders on the oval. Thank you all, and have a great day. :)

If you do not see anything in your Inbox, then please check your Spam folder. Closer to the show, you will receive an email with your entry number, which needs to be printed and brought along on the day. Those who have been to previous All Ford Days, would have noticed our ongoing support from Superoo Falcon Spares. This year once again they are there for support, and will have a trade stand on the grounds. Please see Tony and the boys at the Superoo Falcon Spares stand for the best parts for your restoration. They are always there to support the AFD, and we are there to support them. Remember that entries are closing off soon, and the All Ford Day is just one month away.

It appeared that most of the 500 entrants made it along, and could be one of the most successful All Ford Days yet. 01.01.2022 The All Ford Day is less than 2 months away. It's on Sunday, 6 October 2019 from 09:30-14:30 at Steel Blue Oval, Bassendean. Entries close 3 weeks before the event, so they need to be in as soon as possible. Online entry forms here.... http://www.afd.asn.au/index.php/online-entry Or download an entry form and send it in. http://www.afd.asn.au//doc_download/6-show-entry-form/file After every All Ford Day, money goes to certain charities or sponsorships. After the last show in 2017, some sponsorship went to Rosco McGlashan's Aussie Invader 5R. This week in the West Australian newspaper, there was a story on the great man, and how he is hoping to be the first man in the world to crack 1000mph on land. Your contribution by entering your cars or coming along as a spectator for the day goes towards some amazing causes, so put aside October 6th, and please share these posts as much as you can. All information regarding the All Ford Day is shown in the pinned post at the top of the page.
