22.01.2022 Raindrop Technique - Raindrop was developed in 1989 by D. Gary Young. The Raindrop Technique has been used with great success in supporting proper body functions and bone alignment. Essential oils used in this layering technique are: Valor, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram, Aroma Siez, Peppermint, and White Angelica (optional). ... Today I practised on the amazing Danielle Williams - thank you for being a patience patient Keen to practise on as many willing to have this! 1. Valor is a blend of the following oils: Rosewood- this oil is soothing, creates elasticity, and helps the skin rid itself of irritations and problems such as candida. It is anti-infectious, antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, and anti-parasitic. Blue Tansy- European research shows that it works as an antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, and stimulant for the thymus gland reducing dermatitis, arthritis, sciatica, tuberculosis and allergies. Frankincense- high in sesquiterpenes, it helps stimulate the limbic part of the brain, which elevates the mind, helping overcome stress and despair. Spruce-helps to open and release emotional blocks, bringing about a feeling of balance and grounding. Anti-infectious, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory 2. Thyme is documented to be highly antimicrobial. This essential oil easily penetrates the skin and travels throughout the body. 3. Oregano has an antimicrobial action even more aggressive than thyme. It also has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties. 4. Basil has antispasmodic properties that relax muscles. It is also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. 5. Wintergreen is anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain relieving) due to their high methyl salicylate content. These essential oils are excellent for bones. 6. Cypress improves circulation and relieves spasms and swelling. Cypress also helps heal damaged tissue. 7. Marjoram is antispasmodic and helps relax muscles. 8. Peppermint has pain killing properties. It is also antimicrobial, working synergistically with other oils to enhance their activity. Peppermint also stimulates circulation and cools inflamed tissue. 9. Aroma Siez is a highly antispasmodic blend of essential oils that helps relax sore, tense, or inflamed muscles. Aroma Siez is a blend that consists of the following oils: 10. White Angelica - energy protection!

19.01.2022 Me...Preloved clothes, old boots that often don’t match anything I’m wearing and wild hair. Most days looks like a mop as it just won’t sit where I want it. I am Amanda! Do love finding a fun time, laughing, drinking bubbles, traveling about and meeting new faces! Currently living on the Gold Coast, (but who knows what next year may bring) Mum of 2 spirited beautiful children, Addi 9 and Zak 7. Wife to one amazingly hard working, adventure seeking, smokin hot husband - who j...ust can not sit still! Drives me bonkers! I’m pretty obsessed with caring for our environment, we know we need to act now to leave our children with the healthiest planet possible. I love giving my all to my family and friends and are passionate in sharing my love of low tox living. Wow - years ago I thought I was doing pretty good looking after the kids but far out I was totally ‘green washed’ (that’s another post) but once you know better, you do better right. I’ve found a passion I’m totally in love with - helping others to reduce their toxic load - help them to look after our loved ones and our environment #knowbetterdobetter I love helping others and I’d love to hear where you are from and your current zest for life?

09.01.2022 At age 23, Tina Fey was working at a YMCA. At age 23, Oprah was fired from her first reporting job. At age 24, Stephen King was working as a janitor and living in a trailer.... At age 27, Vincent Van Gogh failed as a missionary and decided to go to art school. At age 28, J.K. Rowling was a suicidal single parent living on welfare. At age 28, Wayne Coyne (from The Flaming Lips) was a fry cook. At age 30, Harrison Ford was a carpenter. At age 30, Martha Stewart was a stockbroker. At age 37, Ang Lee was a stay-at-home-dad working odd jobs. Julia Child released her first cookbook at age 39, and got her own cooking show at age 51. Vera Wang failed to make the Olympic figure skating team, didn’t get the Editor-in-Chief position at Vogue, and designed her first dress at age 40. Stan Lee didn’t release his first big comic book until he was 40. Alan Rickman gave up his graphic design career to pursue acting at age 42. Samuel L. Jackson didn’t get his first movie role until he was 46. Morgan Freeman landed his first MAJOR movie role at age 52. Kathryn Bigelow only reached international success when she made The Hurt Locker at age 57. Grandma Moses didn’t begin her painting career until age 76. Louise Bourgeois didn’t become a famous artist until she was 78. Whatever your dream is, it is not too late to achieve it. You aren’t a failure because you haven’t found fame and fortune by the age of 21. Hell, it’s okay if you don’t even know what your dream is yet. Even if you’re flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where you’ll end up tomorrow. Never tell yourself you’re too old to make it. Never tell yourself you missed your chance. Never tell yourself that you aren’t good enough. You can do it. Whatever it is that sets your soul on fire. Borrowed this from a friends page that I’ve seen go around over the years. Love it. You’re never too old to give something new a go!

08.01.2022 Let’s not sit back and wait until it’s really too late, knowing you could have tried just that little wee bit to make your own difference We know chemicals are all around us and they are crapo for our health and they hurt the environment by heading into the water ways. Such a flow on effect. ... Did you know they are in our beauty products, body products, cleaning products, household products - dish & laundry soaps, pesticides/ herbicides on our fruit & veggies - jeepers creepers far out...they are bloody everywhere! But a pretty easy fix.... Buy natural or/and make your own - looking after our health and the environment, there’s an easy little difference you can make But be careful not to ‘green washed’ and think you’re buying natural - the pretty earthy labels and the fancy wording ‘contains no this and no that’ can trick us. Boy I was tricked for years not knowing about ingredients... a couple of ingredients to look out for - the word fragrance or parfum, there is no legislation to disclose what chemicals are hidden under these words... so bad hey, I totally never knew this until someone told me. ‘When you know better, you can do better’ Reducing your chemicals is just one small change you can make for your health and our environment

07.01.2022 Why compost? Well, we'll give you two (massively huge, super important) reasons: Because more than 50% of our residential waste is made up of food scraps, paper and cardboard. Ok so that's a lot. Let's keep all that good stuff out of landfills.... Right, so the second reason is our biggest motivator. Landfills get capped, making them anaerobic (that's a fancy word that means there's no oxygen). When all that organic material gets put in landfill, it mixes with plastics and metals and turns into a toxic sludge. Not to mention when organics decompose without oxygen they release methane gas, which is 26 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than C02. Why are we putting all this in our bins, to get picked up by a big truck, to drive it away to put in an environment that makes it toxic? When we could be helping it decompose at home, the way it is supposed to, the way that nature intends, by composting? #seedtheground @seedtheground
