22.01.2022 Dear All, Just to let you know, as predicted, that the Cruise on the beautiful Brisbane Waters is back still with the Band on board! The boat will leave the Hawkesbury River Marina on Sunday the 27th of September and the Cruise will be from 3.00.pm to 6.00pm, boarding at 2.45pm.... This time for Covid safety reasons there will be only 45 people allowed on board instead of 100 usually (10 tables of 4 inside and 1 table of 5 upstairs) but after good negotiations the cost is still the same i,e. $41 per person. Still for safety reasons there will be no nibbles on board but the bar will be functional and considering the time of the Cruise we have plenty of time to enjoy a lovely lunch at the Marina before it. As the tickets are going very quickly if you wish to enjoy a great time with music, beautiful Brisbane Waters and finally have a good break from this endless confinement...you need let know Nathalie ASAP who will book the tickets for you via: - Email on: [email protected] - Text on: 0416 303 804 Do NOT reply here as it isn't always monitored. Hoping to see you there

17.01.2022 Bonjour, Nathalie needs to give numbers on Friday, so unfortunately ANYONE WHO HASN'T REPLIED WON'T BE ABLE TO BE PART OF OUR GROUP. We are going to have a gentle return to monthly meetings next Saturday 11th July from 10am - 12 noon. As Erina Leagues Club is not yet taking groups, it will be at Ettalong Diggers Club, 51-52 The Esplanade, Ettalong Beach. We do need to give numbers in advance, so please text Nathalie on 0416 303 804 if you would like to go. Reply by Thursday 9...th July. We would like to return to somewhere a little more central, so if you have suggestions, let us know. Just a reminder that if you have any symptoms of illness or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with Covid 19, you cannot attend. Here also is a summary of NSW Health guidelines in case you are not sure if you should attend: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//frequently-asked-questions. "Who is most at risk? In Australia, the people most at risk of getting COVID-19 coronavirus infections are those who have: recently returned from overseas; been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19. There is also evidence of limited spread of COVID-19 in the community in Australia. Based on what we know so far about COVID-19 and what we know about other coronaviruses, those who are likely to be at higher risk or serious illness if they are infected with the virus are: people 65 years and older with chronic medical conditions; people with compromised immune systems (e.g. cancer); people with diagnosed chronic medical conditions; People 70 years and older; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50 years and older with one or more chronic medical conditions; There is limited evidence at this time regarding the risk in pregnant women." Contact your doctor for specific medical advice. Looking forward to seeing you, Renee Skinner, secretary. See more

Song written, animated, and performed by Sandra Boynton, cello played by Yo-Yo Ma, piano played by Michael Ford. Plus the obligatory accordion cameo by "Weird Al" Yankovic. See more
