Allianz Drilling is a Privately Owned, Independent Australian Drilling Services Contractor, providing specialist drilling services to the Mining, Agricultural and Energy sectors; including exploration, water well drilling and earthing stakes.... Immediate start date We currently require Offsiders for an immediate start on new and existing contacts. This is a great opportunity to work within a professional company that is looking to expand its operations. About the role: The drillers assistant role is physically demanding one, you must be fit and healthy and be well organised. Some of the daily activities include, but are not limited to the following: Assist with the movement, set up and operation of drill rig/s and secondary equipment, Clean and maintain rig and aux equipment. Assist with operational maintenance of plant and equipment. Maintain and care for all company and plant onsite. Maintaining a clean and safe work site; Conduct inspections (safety & operation) of drilling rigs, drill equipment and support vehicles. Liaise with employees and client representatives in a professional manner. Mix and test fluids, clean pits and points Sample presentation; Rod handling; Equipment maintenance; Driving and general housekeeping; Ensuring personal compliance with Company WHS regulations and site- specific rules. Essential Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: Unrestricted 'HR' drivers licence (Road ranger) National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old) Be prepared to work in a variety of environments (mine sites, camps or pub- based accommodation) Be physically fit and healthy Have a great work ethic with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Be team and safety focused, and take pride in the presentation of yourself and our equipment Have basic mechanical knowledge Non Smoker About you: Service focused with a professional approach and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. With excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills, you will be able to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner. Additionally, you will have a proven ability to work in a physically demanding role under pressure.
