17.01.2022 None of us have been through a pandemic before. That feeling of being isolated is triggering for many people who have been through a crisis or a trauma or a previous episode of loneliness, grief or depression. We can help reduce the likelihood of a relapse into depression by reducing our sense of going through it alone. you might feel agitated and 'wound up'.. ... you might be remembering some old memories that you thought were well and truly behind you.. you might feel sleepy and can't get started.. ALL of these are normal reactions to sudden change! Our nervous systems all react in their own ways to sudden loss and change. Whatever you are personally going through, you are encouraged to listen to your body. Know that- your experience is normal, your feelings are ok, and other people will be helped by hearing your story.. More than ever we need to open up to each other and share our experiences.

04.01.2022 "I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it". Maya Angelou We have a unique ability to transform adversity into challenges. The current adversity is going to cause us to learn how to cope, adapt and rebuild. Let's gather together as we face this challenge. Being resilient does NOT mean that we don't ask for assistance. The more resources we can gather, the more creative we can be in the face of adversity.
