22.01.2022 Re: FOXTEL. Ive posted this many times before on here: FOXTEL CUSTOMERS. Your contract is with Foxtel. They engaged Allied Express as the courier, not you. Allied Express is their contractor, not yours. Phone Foxtel and ask to cancel. Tell them that you want payment for the time off work while you waited for Allied Express to turn up. Tell them that you are aware that Allied Express have done this numerous times to other Foxtel customers and you are sure that Foxtel is aware... of previous problems with Allied Express too. Its Foxtels responsibility to deliver their equipment, not yours. Under Australian Consumer Law Foxtel is responsible to their customer and Allied Express is contracted by Foxtel. Ultimately Foxtel hired a dud contractor, Allied Express, Foxtel legally has to wear the consequences, even if that involves reimbursing you! ALL CONTRACTS HAVE A COOLING OFF PERIOD AND CAN BE CANCELLED WHETHER WRITTEN OR VERBAL. See more

I have written to him in the past regarding completely unacceptable issues with Allied Express service and he blamed me, blamed my customers, told me why dont I try running the place and then threatened me with legal action. Allied are rotten from the top down, the drivers that pick up from there hate their job, hate Allied and the stories they tell abou...t Colin and his family stomping around the offices bellowing and hanging up on customers have to be heard to be believed. There is not one driver that will tell you they like their job or the company and this shows with their general goods handling and lack of care. They will lie to you, then use more lies to cover up broken promises and incorrect information. They use fake names in the call centre, then when you try to bring a particularly rude service person to task they just tell you there is no such person there. They pretend to be supervisors at will, and when you ask them questions that are just too hard or they cant be bothered theyll hang up on you. Once our company is clear of Allied Express in the coming months and weve setup elsewhere I will post Colins correspondences with myself as well as just some of the issues weve had IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. I guarantee you when you see the problems weve had with everyday customers deliveries, very nice people and the way they are treated by Allied, and the way were treated you will NEVER have anything to do with this "rotten to the core" company. Over the past 10+ years in eCommerce Ive dealt with many couriers/carriers, and without a doubht Allied Express are the most disgraceful, internally rotten, deceitful and careless freight carrier in Australia bar none, and thats really saying something. I can substantiate everything Ive written here with documents and customer testimonials and hereby swear everything Ive written above is 100% true and accurate with regards to Allied Express daily operations, workforce and pig CEO. Allied Trivia Fact Of The Day: They actually think it is a good idea there to limit incoming service and support calls to a hard timed 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, no matter what, and out of the service persons control, the phone automatically hangs up. Colin McDowell justified this by claiming it saves time and ensures more people get help. WOW! This is something every company in the world should look into, youre a genius Colin!"

17.01.2022 It seems that Allied Express, Australia's worst courier company are determined to maintain their unbelievable service record from 2012 and continue to the same standard in 2013. On Friday afternoon I was queuing up at our local Target store to pay for a replacement trampoline for my daughters Christmas present that Allied Express had failed to deliver. As I was waiting the phone rings. It's a friend of mine. He says, "Are you sitting down Chris? You'll never guess what. Your ...trampoline has just been delivered". (I had it delivered to his business because I didn't want to give Allied Express the "They weren't at home" excuse). I left Target and drove to his business, a local pub. I loaded the box into the car and had a couple of beers. My friend Mick remarked that he'd said to the delivery guy "This was a Christmas present, my friends ordered this weeks before Christmas. What happened?" The courier shrugged his shoulders, said "I'll tell the boss" and left the pub. Another friend at the pub had commented, "That's a small box for a trampoline" and she was right too. When I got home I checked the box and sure enough it was just the safety net and poles. The trampoline is still lost in the vacuous wasteland of Allied Express's warehousing and distribution system. I went back to Target on Saturday morning and bought a trampoline and my daughter loves it. Congratulations Allied Express. Over one month late and half of the goods delivered, the other half lost in your system by your incompetent warehousing, management, staff, contractors and delivery people. You really are Australia's worst courier company. I can only hope that you go out of business this year. I for one will be doing as much as I can to make sure of that! Chris Walters

I have also read your comments on the Australian Consumer Law website, here: http://www.consumerlaw.gov.au/content/Content.aspx I wonder if you are aware of recent problems with Allied Express Couriers. Allied Express is one of Australias largest freight companies and its clients include some of our largest retailers including ToysRUs, Kmart, Target, Big W, Deals Direct and many other smaller businesses including thousands of eBay merchants. It appears that they are failing to deliver peoples Christmas presents right around Australia. Im not talking about one or two complaints against them. There are literally hundreds of online complaints from every major city and rural areas. Allied Expresss CEO Colin McDowell and The Managing Director Michelle McDowell seem to be oblivious to this matter or just dont care. Firstly they fail to deliver the goods on time. Then they hang up several times when you complain. Then they claim to have lost the item. Often they fail to deliver the goods at all. As the Federal Minister responsible for this could you instruct the ACCC to investigate Allied Express., and perhaps place them into a temporary administration system while their malpractices are sorted out? I realise that there are various State Consumer protection agencies but it seems that on this occasion a coordinated national investigation may be more appropriate. My interest in this matter is that Allied Express Couriers have failed to deliver my four year old daughters Christmas Present and Ive been given the run around by them just like everyone else. But Im not going to sit here and take it from them! I apologize for disturbing you during the Christmas holiday but Im hoping that someone in your ministerial office will see this and start the ball rolling against this incompetent company.
