24.01.2022 Our next ride will be at Oak Valley on Saturday 17th November, leaving from Lyndels place at 7 Benalla Rd, Oak Valley. Arrive by 3:00pm for a 3:30pm ride start. The ride will go for 2.5 to 3 hours. Going will be fairly kind for the horses feet but you may like to use hoof boots if you have them. Water for the horses will be available at Lyndels place. 24.01.2022 We have decided to postpone Sundays ride, owing to the extreme temperatures which are much higher than predicted. It is just too uncomfortable for us and the horses at the moment, especially with some horses still battling soft feet and rain scald. At this stage, the ride will be the following Sunday 3rd March, depending on the weather. I will put out another notice early next week.

14.01.2022 Fantastic afternoon and good turn up at the Burdekin River ride yesterday! These are just some pics of the ride-off and lunch spot. Thanks for the sausage sizzle Kelly and Arthur!

10.01.2022 Hidden Valley was the best camp ever. Scenery was spectacular and weather was perfect. Great company and a few songs around the fire with a banjo thanks to our musician member Laurie. A special thanks to our singers Sue and Danielle. Not to mention the great mustering work put in by the boys when two of our horses decided to escape at night and join the locals .. Thanks everyone one for another amazing weekend.

05.01.2022 EOI JERVOICE CAMP OUT Contacted my friend as his parents own 76000 acres up near Greenvale. Camping near river near a gauge or water hole .$15.00 1 night per vehicle and 10.00 every night there after. For the non campers can book a donga near homestead for $50 p/p per night . Unfortunately by staying near homestead will be a distance to camp.. Will provide a map for trail rides, we can go mustering / trial ride with a small extra cost .... Looking at 31/2 to 4 hours drive. This camp out is for members only. See more

05.01.2022 Ride Calendar August to December New day memberships purchased in October will be eligible for the Athra special - full membership upgrade lasting from October 2019 to December 2020. un 4th August Cungulla 2:00pm... Sun 11th August Crystal Creek all day ride from 8:30am Sat 24th August Cape Cleveland ride from Crocodile Creek Rd to the beach north of Cungulla all day ride Sat/Sun 14/15th September camp or day rides at the Burdekin River preride to be done by some of the committee to work out the trail route and camp details Sat/Sun/Mon 28/29/30th September camp at Cardwell. Camping available at the caravan park for $8 a night plus $8 per power socket. Sat 12th October Oak Valley or Majors Creek afternoon ride Sat 26th October St Margarets Creek ride (south of Alligator Creek, north of Palm Creek) afternoon ride Sat 9th November or Sat 7th December moonlight Pizza Ride at Alligator Creek from 4:30pm to coincide with the full moon - date will depend on host Joanne Kroghs availability There may also be a camp at Jervoise Station if there is interest dates to be advised Rides and dates subject to change.
