It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped to allow us to cook our own meals. 08.01.2022 Like the rest of Australia, we are devastated about the mass whale stranding at Macquarie Heads and Ocean Beach. We are receiving queries from travellers concer...ned that the whales are in the Strahan township itself and witnessing the stranding may cause trauma to their children. The whales are located several kilometres from the township, and are not able to be seen unless specifically travelling to Ocean Beach or Macquarie Heads. The waterfront area of Strahan where cruise boats dock and West Strahan Beach area are not affected. We are looking forward to welcoming travellers to Strahan and anyone with queries is encouraged to visit us at the Centre, email [email protected] or call 64726800.
