15.01.2022 Before your Spray Tan Appointment PREPARE- It's best to start exfoliating and moisturising your body 48 hours before your spray tan appointment 48 hours before your appointment wax/shave, exfoliate and moisturise.... (It is important that you exfoliate the dead skin off your body so your tan last longer on new skin, moisturising will hydrate your skin and keep it looking smooth and healthy, we shed our skin every 7-10days) SRUB UP- Always shower prior to your spray tan appointment and dry your hair. AVOID- Don't wear any products on your body, you must come free of any moisturiser, oils, deodorants, make up, or perfumes before you are sprayed. CLOTHING- Wear loose dark clothing to your session, if it is raining bring a umbrella and protective clothing. Do not wear silk, wool, satin or leather to your appointment as the material will strip your tan instantly. After your spray tan appointment STAY DRY- Do not get wet or exercise until it's time to rinse off. SHOWER- Rinse off the bronzer as instructed by your spray tan technician. 1-8hours after your appointment, and lightly pat your skin dry with a towel. Do not use any products on your skin to rinse off bronzer as you risk stripping or discolouring your tan before it is completely developed. (My tan solutions are rapid tans, do not expect your body to be brown after rinse off with a 1 hour rapid tan, your tan starts developing over 8 hours. Rapid tans are created so you don't need to sit in your tan for 8 hours and not touch anything, you have it on for 1 hour or 2 then rinse off and commence normal life activities while your tan develops.) PAMPER- Your tan will last longer on well hydrated skin, moisturise daily to prolong your tan. AVOID- Soaking in the bath, chlorinated spa's or pools will cause your tan to fade faster. Alli's spray tanning products do not contain SPF sunscreen and will not protect you from ultra violet rays. Please take usual precaution and wear sunscreen.
