22.01.2022 || BUSH CHRISTMAS || 3 more sleeps until we get to celebrate the year with our little street party hosted by Allora Community Circle Inc - the Collective is bur...sting with excitement. We are re-stocked with all our beautiful gifts and goodies ready for you to #shoplocal and in turn, support many local artisans in keeping our creative industries alive and well. Katie's Cocktail Cafe will be serving up some delicious cocktails to quench your thirst and the cafe will be operating in full swing for all your coffee and dinner needs - not to mention our sweet treat boxes with a little bit of a Christmas flavour (more on that later in the week). Helen Conroy will be keeping all at PL Travers park entertained with her live tunes - a super chilled vibe! Our favourite neighbours Allora Butchery will be open late too - all our meat for our menu items has been provided by these guys and we absolutely love the quality and standard in which they continue to produce - not to mention the comedic banter that comes with the territory. Anyway, here’s a sneaky peek of our food and drinks menu - 5 pm to 8 pm FRIDAY!! 16.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone who attended the Christmas Party this year. It was organised with short notice and required a few COVID safe changes but by all reports eve...ryone had a great time. The event couldn’t have gone ahead without the generous support of many helpers. Thanks to (in no particular order): -Mark and Kim for providing wonderful music which transformed the party atmosphere. We loved listening to you and watching the kids dancing in a Congo line -Terri for mowing the lawn -Kerrie for doing food pickup and donating 2 massage raffle prizes from 4362 Therapy -Naomi for helping with clean up and donating a DNM Photography raffle prize valued at $150 -Kathryn for helping with the food and raffles -Shannah for helping with the food and donating Neutrametics raffle prizes -Kellie for helping with food prep and running the bar all evening -Mike and Eva for set up, pack up, food pickup, the BBQ, cooking your delicious cookies, donating raffles and helping with the food. We also can’t forget the marvellous Christmas tree. -Lindsay and Emma for your clever artwork which was the backdrop for Santa’s photos -Neil for helping with the BBQ -Mary Lou and Shane for lending the ute to Santa -Shannon and Cameron for donating 4 large tubs of Honey from Dalrymple View for the raffle -Bunnings for providing a $50 voucher for the raffle -Vince for helping out at the last minute and getting in the Christmas spirit -Alana at Silver Gum Graphic Design for designing our lovely flyer -June for clean up help and managing the door -James and Jacinta from Lace and Barrel for donating the bar -Aaron and Ashley from Allora Butchery for lending us the cold room. Our meat and bread came from Allora Butcher -Chas for finding Santa and bringing him to us as well as his helping with set up and pack up -Sarah for helping with the raffles I hope I haven’t missed anyone. 15.01.2022 New Years Opening Hours. As you know we are open 7am til 6pm today. We have made the decision that tomorrow the 31st of December we will be closing at 2pm. And we will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our hours will be normal again starting Monday the 4th of Jan. ... We hope you have a wonderful New Years and we will see you in the new year.
