23.01.2022 DATE CLAIMER 23rd & 24th January 2021 Allora Heritage Weekend will be running in 2021 as passed at our meeting tonight. It will be run under a COVID safe plan - so yes there will be some changes to adhere to the rules but none the less a great outing for all. Please spread the word. More information coming very soon.

23.01.2022 Just an update on 2021 .As everyone would know a lot is still up in the air as to our 2021 event .The Covid 19 guide lines make this sort of event hard to run .We have been planning an event for next year .A decision will be made at our meeting on the 11/11/2020 as to whether we can run an event under the current rules and regulations.

21.01.2022 The Allora Heritage Weekend has been running since 1995 and is organised by the Warwick Veteran and Vintage Vehicle Club. It is an absolute dream event for thos...e that are into their cars, trucks, tractors, machinery and engines. Everything is laid out in clear sections which makes navigating around very easy. It can be very hot so don't forget to slip, slop, slap. There are water taps around the grounds, a variety of drinks for sale, great food available to buy and lots of shady places to sit and take a break from the sun. Allora is on the New England Highway about 2 hours from Brisbane. There is also the option to stay, with sites available for tents, caravans, etc. If you've never been, keep an eye out for it next year. Make sure to bring cash with you because there are no ATMs. All photos in this album have been taken by Sandy from Out & About. You are so welcome to share photos or the album, but please do not create copies of photos to post elsewhere. Please message the page if you need any other information. See more

08.01.2022 ALLORA HERITAGE WEEKEND 25 - 26 January 2020 I spent Saturday at the Allora Heritage Weekend event surrounded by trucks, tractors, cars, machinery and engines. ...While that might not be everyone's cup of tea, it's a great event for those that appreciate the history and the beauty of everything on display. I love the colours, the characters and the rust. I know, I know, it's a bit odd to love rust (no comments from the peanut gallery). In normal circumstances I would highly recommend trying to avoid it, but rust does make for some great photos and I say, when you are at a historical event ......... let there be rust!!! I'm also a sucker for a red tractor, but that could just be my Dad's influence. With a sea of red tractors, I was never going to be disappointed. Sorry John Deere ........ I know you're extremely popular and absolutely fabulous ........... but green is not my colour. The approaching storm made an impressive backdrop during the tractor and car parades, and while it caused havoc for the grounds, the big downpour provided some much needed rain to the area. Like little land tugboats, the tractors proved their worth after the storm by towing the trucks out through the water and mud. I wish I'd been able to see it, but I was otherwise occupied at the Dollar Auction, where I was trying to convince my tickets to win me a prize.
