01.01.2022 At the moment we are talking a lot with clients about considering eating regular meals and snacks containing protein. So many people we are speaking with don’t eat enough during the day and then BAM! Crazy hunger arrives in the afternoon and we are wondering why?... Some people see this as a weakness, but it is actually such a great thing to be able to listen to our body when it says FEED ME!! Our bodies have one job - keep us alive. And if you let it, it does an amazing job. The body senses that not enough energy is going in, so we start becoming preoccupied with food so we can get some more energy to keep on going. Being prepared can help. Having some go-to snacks on hand in the car, in the bag, in the desk drawer, can help keep our bodies fuelled. One product I often suggest as a good snack for taste (MOST IMPORTANT), nutrition and portability are nut bars. But there are times when something sweet is not what you feel like. But then I saw there were Carman’s Savoury Nut Bars! I loved them. They are a bit salty, a little sweet, but nowhere near as sweet as the regular nut bars which I find a bit much if something savoury is what I feel like. Have you tried these? Do you like nut bars?
