22.01.2022 Hilux update. Knocking over a few small tasks unrelated to the Canopy but just as important. Rust proofing. We have just installed a Couplertec x6 pad heavy duty system & gone over the chassis with some Action Rust Proof clear. More to come.

11.01.2022 Ok everyone, we have been a bit slack on the socials lately, so let’s catch everyone up. We have just got our hands on a new Hilux SR5 & we are loving it. It’s a very nice drive & handles really well out of the box. Big thanks to John Madill Toyota, Gympie for providing a great vehicle & great service. We have thrown a rough temporary tray on & taken the Ute for a quick drive to feel out the suspension & ride... very nice Over the next 6 weeks we will keep everyone updated on the build. 10.01.2022 We do custom internal fit outs. The internals of this canopy were designed to suit an upright fridge with Lithium battery & Red Arc manager 30. It also has pullout drawers, bench spaces & an on board water tank. Everything you need to tour.

07.01.2022 We’ve had a chance to poke our head around the New Hilux & we now have a plan. Basic overview: Canopy 1250 x 1800 x 920. Small Tray section to the rear of the unit. Total length 1680. Under Body Tool Boxes Under Tray Drawer... The aim is to build a compact unit that will carry the entire kit from our previous 1700 long Canopy (& no doubt more once the kids throw their $#!+ in). The length & width will be as close as we can manufacture to the vehicles Factory Tub size. We will aim to keep the weight under the Manufactures GVM of 3050kg. The vehicle Tare Weight is 1945kg. We put the kerb weight at about 2015kg. This leaves us with 1035kg. This will mean a suspension upgrade. Looking forward to that part . 04.01.2022 One of our great customers had a clearance issue with their new AirSafe tow hitch, the day before a big trip! But a bit of custom modification on a Saturday and they are ready to go! Always happy to work with our customers to get the best result for their Alloy Ute Canopy.

04.01.2022 Productive day at the workshop! We finalized the wiring and plumbing on this great looking 79' Cruiser. With a 60L on board water tank, Shurflo water pump with two wash down points, 2 auxiliary batteries with a DC2DC charger, it is now set up for an awesome outback adventure!
