21.01.2022 We need another Vet! Please share away to help us find our next team member ******************************************************************* Opportunity you can’t miss Full Time Veterinarian Position with us!! ... Be a part of a rapidly growing, progressive, supportive, family owned veterinary clinic. We are looking for someone to become a part of our team, with a focus on high quality veterinary medicine tailored to each individual patient, and building great relationships with clients. Our clinic is well equipped and well managed to make our days run smooth. Being rural, we see a huge variety of cases, both medical and surgical. Everyday brings something different. We have 1 vet and 4 nurses our nurses are highly trained and utilised well to free up our vet time. Yes, we are a small clinic, but this means you will not be just another vet amongst a large team. You will take charge of your cases and follow them through continuity is so important, you will get to know and care for your clients, you will be ‘on surgery’ and ‘on consult’ everyday, you will have tons of exposure and tons of opportunity everyday. At the moment, we are 95% small animal and exotics, and 5% large animal equine, hobby farm mostly. There is huge potential to expand the large animal base, just need that second vet! For new or recent graduates, this is an ideal first job! We do a huge amount of routine desexing, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery and dentistry. You will learn so much and so quickly. You will not be on your own and will have 1 on 1 mentoring and support, and encouragement to get in and have a go. For experienced vets, this job will allow you freedom and flexibility, to follow or renew your passion in veterinary medicine. A love of equine medicine will be viewed favourably. We are professional, but we are also easy going we get in and get it done on the busy days, and make the most to chill out and catch up on the quiet days. Salary will start at $70,000 for new grads - $100,000 for experienced vets, based on 38hr week. Working hours are flexible. There will be 1 weekend on-call per month usually fairly quiet. Accommodation will be provided for the first 3 months to allow easier transition to our great town Narrabri. 4 weeks annual leave, 1 week CPD leave and $2000 CPD allowance per year. Bonus $10,000 offered after 2 years employment. Partnership potential for right candidate. Applications will remain confidential, please phone Stacey Dunn 0448 833705 for a chat or email CV to [email protected]

21.01.2022 So while the world is dealing with the coronavirus outbreak, here at Allpets Narrabri we are dealing with a PARVOVIRUS outbreak in dogs. However, the difference is, we have a very good vaccine against parvovirus! Please check your dogs vaccination status, make sure they have had their annual booster and get them up to date asap. Give them the best possible protection against this awful disease. It is much easier and much cheaper to prevent this disease, rather than try to treat it. We have seen enough devastation and heartbreak over the last few weeks.
