24.01.2022 Two new rooms, had no walls, no trims, no doors...we brought these rooms back to their original condition. Just waiting on the new wardrobe doors to come, then it’s a new home again.

23.01.2022 Garage reno. Cavity slider changed to a hinged door, complete replacement of rear door and frame. New paint.

23.01.2022 Upgrade to two kitchenettes & three toilets, new doors, new paint, new hand vanities, cabinets, sinks, bench tops and splash backs. The green and grey colour scheme goes with their business colours, it matches their cars, shirts, business cards and office colours.

20.01.2022 New timber fence & double gates. The owner is a painter and stained the timbers between us building and coming back with the surfmist corrugation.

19.01.2022 New landing and stairs.

19.01.2022 A customer messaged me with a photo of some internal stairs asking if i could build it. Challenge accepted!

16.01.2022 Built an office in a hanger. From walls to paint. Kitchenette too.

15.01.2022 Replaced two large beams. Very awkward job. We put gutter back on and painted the new beams. I failed to take completion pics.

13.01.2022 We knocked out a heap of walls from this 100yr old home, framed up two new bathrooms, 3 new wardrobes, installed new French doors(forgot to take pics of them)lined all walls with Gyprock, installed 5 new door frames and doors, one external window to match house, installed new jams and architraves on all new door frames and wardrobes, installed new skirting throughout, taped and put base coat on all joins, head start for plasterers. Five 12hr days, you could say by Friday night the two of us were quite tired.

07.01.2022 Couple of fencing jobs. This colourbond fence had some tough angles and slopes. On one hole we managed to miss mains water and storm water by mm’s.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone, i just wanted to give a bit of an update as to what my business is doing during this virus. Last year in Dec my wife and I started our 12 month big lap of this beautiful country, leaving home with our landcruiser loaded up, camper trailer following behind and our four kids very excited, our 5yr plan was about to come true. We travelled south managing to stay ahead of the fires, arriving in Vic to have Christmas with family, which was fantastic. We then travel...led around Tasmania for 5wks before coming back across Bass Straight early Feb. We then headed West, 3mths later we ended up at Carnarvon, we’ve had to stop our 2020DOINGIT lap and settle in over here in WA at Carnarvon. There are zero cases of COVID-19 which is great for this remote town. Renting a house for 4mths and landing a full time job with the Maintanence team at the local hospital was not part of our plan. But hey, we have loved this trip and have been looked after each and every step of the way. Home schooling all year has been fun and challenging, as most parents in the next few weeks will realise. Our two younger ones have def been easier than our two high school age kids. Along with schooling each day we are enjoying this local community, daily walks along the water front, a bit of fishing and bike riding have kept us busy. Looking forward to mid August when we leave here and continue our journey north, by then I’m sure there will be enough restrictions eased for us to see some more as we make our way up to the Kimberley and through the NT back home to the Sunshine State.
