14.01.2022 It is with great sadness that Jason and I must advise the passing of Mick Rigney. Mick died on Thursday doing something that he loved - piloting, and with one of his favourite people - his brother Tony. While only fairly new to the piloting scene, Mick had quickly become a favourite pilot to many drivers. His quick wit and laughter were contagious. He often travelled with his brother Tony which I believe didn't always end well as (according to Mick) he was led astray by his ...big brother. Mick's memorial service will be held this Friday at 11.30am at Melaleuca Station Memorial Gardens 9394 Tweed Valley Way, Chinderah NSW 2487, for those who wish to attend. Our sincere condolences to his wife Helen, brother Tony and the entire Rigney family. On a side note, we would like to thank Bowers Transport and those in attendance for your help during this difficult time. Your compassion and consideration were greatly appreciated. You will be sadly missed Mick. Leanne See more
