20.01.2022 There has been conflicting advice on what we can and can't do in relation to fishing. We have posted the Government Official advice which allows us to continue to fish in our local waterways for the purpose of catching fish for subsistence. I would like to say that this could change at any time and it will come down to us ALL doing the right thing. There are authorities who would like to see Fishing & Boating banned, so please abide by all the social distance rule and only h...ave 2 in a boat unless it is family and take the extra steps to be more than courteous to your fellow boaties particularly at our local boat ramps and spend as little time in the boating area, this will mean not cleaning your fish at the ramp. As usual it will only take 1 or 2 people to abuse this privilege and we will all suffer from their stupidity. Stay safe, do the right thing and hopefully we will get back to some normality in the near future. Should you have any queries please give me a ring and hopefully i can give you some answers. It is essential fishing only (utilize your local waterways - the closest boat ramp near you - keep travel to a minimum). Fish by yourself or with household members. We all need to try and do the right thing now so that we can all still continue to eat fresh fish.
