19.01.2022 All Round Academics is now providing tutoring sessions via FaceTime, Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams in our quest to support students during this unprecedented time. We provide support in Maths and English, we help with assessment tasks and we support students with the work being set by schools during this virtual learning period. For those wanting additional work to what schools are already providing, we continue to provide personalised learning programs.... Lessons are now 1-1 and we are happy to provide flexibility with times and lesson frequency to suit your needs. We offer 30mins for $30 and can either provide regular or one-off lessons. 15.01.2022 We are finally moving!! Harrington Grove here we come... Rosa and I are super excited to be starting our final week of lessons in Gregory Hills today. Yep, we are ahead of the times! Fo...r thise interested: The Gonski Report is the result of a panel-lead national enquiry to provide advice on how to improve student achievement and school performance in Australian Schools. Whilst the works original scope focussed on school funding as a mechanism, the 2018 report extends its scope to recommend transformational reforms in early, primary and secondary schooling. The major underpinning presented in the Gonski Report 2018 calls for a focus on individual continuous student learning; whereby students are measured for their growth in addition to their achievement (grade). To support this, Gonski also proposes the Australian Curriculum be altered to a learning progression format. 05.01.2022 Happy New Year from All Round Academics and welcome to 2017!! We are looking forward to another bumper year helping students achieve their academic goals. Here's a few key updates for you all: 1. We would like to congratulate our 2016 HSC students on achieving excellent results in their exams. A special congratulations goes to Tiana who in only 2 years with us raised her math and english grades from below 50 to the mid 80's in her HSC exams - well done Tiana!! 2. We are curre...ntly taking exressions of interest for 2017 so we can get a draft timetable done by late January. Discounts apply for siblings, multiple weekly lessons and upfront payments, so be sure to ask what specials and packages are on offer when you enquire. 4. Holiday lessons commence next week (Monday 9 January) so please let us know if you want to be included in any of our holiday groups. Finally, please remember we offer 90min small group lessons of mixed ages and academic levels - this has proven over and over again to achieve the best results.
