25.01.2022 All wheel drive and front wheel drive engine change overs are a time consuming job but we do them quite often.

25.01.2022 From left to right shows what the evaporator should look like and next to it is a very blocked evaporator. The cabin filter (if fitted) also needs regular maintenance/replacement.

17.01.2022 This vehicle came to us for the first time with a noise in the engine. Yes it was STILL RUNNING with no timing belt tensioner attached. Every bolt on the timing cover was cross threaded. Please get your repairs done by a quality repairer. Very Lucky customer....

17.01.2022 Big shout out to the brilliant service I have had from All Rural Mechanical over the past 10 years. My first contact was when I broke a wheel stud on a Saturday... morning. I happened to score either Phil or Sheldon at work who helped me out despite being closed. 10 years of excellent service to multiple vehicles later, they fix the brakes on my daughters car, without a booking, the day before breaking up for Christmas because they considered it "a safety issue." 15.01.2022 $1200 diff locker selector motor. Customer could not afford to Replace. We cleaned it up, swapped out a few internal parts for second Hand parts and fixed for under $250. Few mechanics will try to repair nowdays, most remove and fit.

15.01.2022 This is why we replace cabin filters. This vehicle is pre 2012 so it does not have one, but this is what cabin filters prevent by catching all particles before entering the vehicle.

14.01.2022 This Customer was quoted over $10,000 by the local Dealership to Replace parts before a diagnosis was carried out. We found that this brand new vehicle ( 50kms on the odometer) had the catch fitted incorrectly by another company. a simple re-plumb of the hoses and a Diesel Particulate Filter regeneration and the customer was on his way at a cost of $155. A cheap price to pay for an experienced team and correct diagnosis.

13.01.2022 All Rural Diesel Performance:: Darwin Fuel::: How many People have changed their Toyota Hilux or Landcruiser filters and have seen metal flakes in the bottom of their fuel filter and wondered where they came from???? We see those metal flakes in just about every filter change....Those metal flakes are from the inside of your injector pump. My Theory ( once again this is my personal opinion) is the pump tries to compress small amounts of water or just plain Dodgey Fuel( Da...rwin Fuel) in the pump and can not compress. Your pump then breaks down / chips a small amount of metal off the pump and sends it down the return line back to the fuel tank. That is how those metal flakes end up in your fuel filter. Now that filter is picking up the large fragments that you can see........ WHERE ARE THE FINE FINE FRAGMENTS GOING SMALLER THAN 7 TO 11 MICRON ?????? If the factory fuel filter is good enough why are injector pumps chipping apart??? How did that water get in to start the process of the injector pump breaking down???? See more

12.01.2022 In light of what’s been going on with the Coronavirus If customers have any concerns about coming into the office when there are other people inside, they are welcome to park their car in the carpark with the keys in the vehicle, give us a call and we will come out and fetch the keys. Once the work has been done, they may pay over the phone, and we'll park the vehicle outside in the carpark with the keys in it All staff getting in and out of vehicles will wipe down the steer...ing wheel, gear stick and keys before and afterwards plus they will be wearing disposable gloves. 10.01.2022 Why we do a brake test when we service a vehicle.

08.01.2022 Another successful repair of the dreaded steering knock in some models of Kia Rio, Hyundai i20, i30 and Getz with electric assist steering. The fault is caused by a small rubber gear disintegrating. It is located between the electric motor and the steering column. Dealer fix is a new steering assembly at great cost. Our fix 1.5hrs 2.5hrs dependant on vehicle model and a new improved rubber gear

05.01.2022 Had some mongrels breaking into All Rural at 1.00am Friday morning, stole 2 vehicles and some cash - drove through the gate totally trashing it - thanks to the great work from the police both vehicles recovered with little damage - One in Driver and the other in Durak - how surprising! I have a feeling they are well known to the police! Have all the action on CCTV that was installed less than 4 weeks ago by TKT communications. Lets see what happens to them!
