23.01.2022 Meg Jackson, is currently studying Bachelor of Music (performance) and a Bachelor of Psychological Science on concurrent study. Meg has always had a flair for composition and has recently been selected for the World Championships of Performing Arts in the Vocal Self-Accompanied category. Meg has had great success to date with her entry of vocal piece which was her own composition. She is now one of approximately 70 artists representing Australia in a variety of Performing Art areas. We wish our past student all the best with this competition and look forward to hearing some of her compositions on the radio in the years to come.

In keeping with a footy theme, students and staff were also encouraged to wear a jersey of their choice. 21.01.2022 Last week we celebrated the feast of St Dominic, founder of the Sisters of St Dominic, who established this campus 153 years ago. The Dominican way of living encourages an awareness that all of creation is a gift from God. The College held a liturgy led by the College leaders and all students participated via Zoom. As has been the tradition here, for over a century, the liturgy included the honouring of the legacy of Dominic through the crowning St Dominic.

11.01.2022 Seasons for Growth Seasons for Growth offers children and young people a safe space to come together and share their experiences of change and loss. The 8 week program consists of weekly sessions which explore concepts and themes such as, Life is like the Seasons, Change is Part of Life, Valuing My Story, Caring for my Feelings and Making Good Choices. ... The learning processes in the program reflect a deep respect for childrens capacity to cope, problem-solve, make good choices, set realistic goals and connect with others. Such learning develops best in supportive social contexts with peers and a caring, skilled adult Companion. Learning is documented in a personal Seasons for Growth journal so that participants can re-visit their insights in the future. If you would like your child to be involved in this program please contact Rebecca Cornwall (Trained Companion) E [email protected] Click on the link below to read more information about the program. https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track

03.01.2022 Advice for Families If your child is sick or displays flu-like symptoms they must get tested for COVID19. Students are not to return to school until they have been issued a negative test result and are symptom-free. The School must sight the negative test result before your child can return to school. If a member of our school community is deemed to be a close contact of someone who has tested positive, they are to:... - Get tested for COVID19 - Self-isolate for 14 days from the last day they had contact with the person who tested positive (Isolation is compulsory even if the test returns a negative result) - If the person lives in the same household as the positive case, they will need to get re-tested on day 10-12 of isolation before returning to school.
