14.01.2022 Throughout this year, a group of students and staff across the College (with support from our partner, Aquatic Life Industries) have been redeveloping our old aquaponics space into a hub of innovation and sustainable learning. Some of our Year 8 InnovatED students have been working in Sustainable Food Project groups to continue to grow the area and learn about the sustainable food production of fish and plants through aquaponics. These students were given the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labour earlier this week, harvesting some food from the aquaponics system. They each took home broccoli, kale and coriander with the task to cook the fresh produce and take a photo of the end product.
