20.01.2022 Hi church, in the light of the emergency bush fire situation the local ministers felt we need to join together in prayer, praying specifically for rain and for safety for all. This prayer gathering will take place 8am-9am tomorrow (Monday) morning for an emergency prayer meeting, on the grassy area in front of the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. Please invite people from all saints and other gospel believing churches. This a great opportunity for us to collectively ask God to intervene for our town and direct our hope and trust toward Him. Thanks Pete & Meg Dover from Salt for initiating...

17.01.2022 Wishing the Shoalhaven a happy Christmas. Take a few moments to watch this carol and stunning Shoalhaven images. https://youtu.be/P15swMY3Xak

17.01.2022 Dear all saints, It is with a heavy heart I inform you that our public Sunday services and public ministries have been closed til further notice . This directive has come from the office of the Archbishop effective immediately. GrowGroups will still be able to meet if practicing safe distance. However the larger women’s bible study on Tues would need to close or meet in homes in smaller groups.... OHF, EFL, Jnr Jivers, Blast & youth will also be closed. We are working on a streaming option for 8am service (although this is not an age group who naturally use these internet platforms. We will also provide visitation and communion in private or small groups). There will be a separate stream Sun service for a 10.30/5pm and a separate lesson time for children. YAC might even try Skype or similar... Early days. In case you missed our earlier post, Mark Drama and Nerriga Fire Fundraiser has been postponed indefinitely. Stay tuned, Robin will probably have some mission moment ideas and updates. I do have a heavy heart. Meeting as the people of God is part of our spiritual identity. I love meeting with you all, as I know Robin does too, from 8am’s very reflective and careful liturgy and great hymns... through the morning at 10.30an and all the way to 5pm in our more contemporary way. Also, we value our very intimate gatherings at SHACC, Nerriga and Greenwell Point. Miss you already! However, this is incredibly exciting to think God is about to do a new thing in our culture!!! I will write more about this later. Meanwhile, watch for more info on our upcoming online Sun services, and remember to encourage each other even more than normal, so we stay connected and care for one another in an anxious community In Christ, Rev Geoff Thompson On behalf of the All Saints ministry team

15.01.2022 Ok, All Saints, here are the links to tomorrow’s church services on YouTube. The 4 links take you DIRECTLY to our YouTube site. Ideally you will click the link in your email (a bunch of coloured numbers!) and you be magically transported to the start of the service (your browser will open automatically) ready to click play. If you have a smart TV, open the YouTube app and search for All Saints Nowra and you find the options to click. The 4 links below will provide different o...ptions: Link 1. 'Sun Service for 10.30 & 5pm’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvfXYfNMPL4&feature=youtu.be Link 2. 'Sermon only' (for Home Group Church leaders who intend to lead the service 'live' and only need to use the sermon in the group setting). https://youtu.be/DsmjX-y0drc Link 3. 'Sun Service for 8am', https://youtu.be/aQpGnhbFEgw Link 4. ‘an extra kids spot from Josh', https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geQ0gEkhw8c An order of service is also attached here. Emily has distributed (via our family facebook group) a first instalment of teaching modules and resources for families to do with their kids. Josh has also created a kids spot at the end of link 4. It is important that we don't click and consume this Sunday service like we would any other facebook post. This is our worship service and so please sit down reverently like you would in church and focus on coming before God, knowing that your brothers and sisters at All Saints will be with you in spirit doing the same. Pray, sing if you can, and at the conclusion of the service take time to communicate with another member, to encourage. Try and do this at the normal time you be at church if possible. No peaking before tomorrow ;-) order of service mar 22.pdf Have a great Sunday! The Ministry Team

10.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who attended and served during our Christmas services. It takes a lot of work for a church like ours to host 4 very diff Christmas services... singers & musicians, set-up, welcomers, readers, prayers, lighting, data & sound tech, crowd control, baristas, cleaners... Great effort everyone. Great Christmas! (Special call out to Nick, Jordan, Ron for an especially late night down the police station at 2.30am Christmas Eve . And to Rach for calling the police!). Fun times to the glory of the Lord Jesus.

04.01.2022 Hi everyone here is an update on Sunday services and mission events. Please read these 10 points and pass on to other members of All Saints you think might not see this fb post... 1. Nerriga Fire Fundraiser and Mark Drama are cancelled. We may hold these later in the year. 2. At this stage our physical Sunday services will go ahead this weekend but in smaller settings. This might change by later in the week. If we need to cancel there will be a You Tube channel!... 3. If we have physical services then we will not have morning tea, supper etc. Do not bring food to share. If anything, we may offer biscuits in individually sealed sachets. 4. Children’s ministry at this stage will be going ahead however there will be no crèche. We ask that children do not attend 8am for the time being where there is a high proportion of elderly. 5. Feel free to stay away from church if you feel the need to isolate and perhaps let our ministry team know if you are feeling sick. 6. We are establishing a register of all member’s foreseeable plans over the next month regarding attendance. Please, please communicate to church office whether you will be at church this sun or plan to be away. In these first few weeks this will help us plan. More on what smaller services might look like soon. 7. A pastoral care plan is being implemented to keep our seniors and vulnerable connected and looked out for, during this time. We will also reach out regularly on a wider parish scale over next 6 months to make sure we stay connected. 8. Remember to watch out for each other even more than normal and encourage, encourage, encourage. 9. There is a new word in the community’s vocabulary, ‘social distancing’. This is about creating reasonable space between people (even seating at church) and avoiding handshakes and hugs etc. this all may seem extreme but all these measures are to slow the exponential spread of the virus. It is the best practice world wide. We do all these things not out of fear but out of LOVE More soon, Geoff and ministry team.
