18.01.2022 When a plumber gives up and im called in to replace a spa bath pump.This is a classic renovated bathroom without proper thought about how the spa will be serviced/repaired.

16.01.2022 When your spa bath has been used as just a bath over a period of time,algae grows within the pipework.Its important to flush the spa pipes out quarterly so you get out of your bath cleaner than you got in.

15.01.2022 A nice run out to Googong today to look at a recently purchased second hand spa.Sometimes a pre inspection can save a pending hefty repair bill.Another trip back will see it running as it should with a new pump.

14.01.2022 Heres an interesting one i visited the other day.I had returned to site with a repaired spa controller to refit.The customer mentioned the spa had lost water through the shut off valves.Upon wiring up the spa immediately shorted when the power was turned on.Turned out the sparky had conduited the power through the concrete slab and not raised the conduit above ground level.So when the spa leaked,the water filled the power lines conduit all the way down to the junction box which was below the level of the spa.Upon unscrewing the cap of the junction box water poured out around the terminated wires.It was only the second time ive seen this in 20yrs but the issue was solved and the customer is now happy.

11.01.2022 Here is a hot tub that i plumbed up recently to my spec.A two speed pump and large filter located remotely,an 8.8kw reverse cycle heat pump,multicoloured led light a uv/ozone sterilizer for sanitisation,and wi fi control from your mobile phone.So the objective were no mechanical noise,and no odour,so you only smell the sweet cedar hot tub and hear the sound of running water.This was all in a secluded spot on the customers rooftop.A custom... instal that takes enjoying a hot tub beyond whats commercially available to purchase.One of the more satisfying jobs. 02.01.2022 This is a good example of a spa bath that wasnt run as a spa bath and only used as a bath.The organics of body oils,bath oils have allowed the algae to grow in the pipework over time.Its important you flush the spa pipework periodically with an algaecide to stop this occuring.
