At approximately 1:40pm. The rider of a Black/ Silver Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling south in the left hand lane on the M1 Motorway at approximately 100 kilometres per hour when a large metal/silver bar unexpectedly came off an unidentified vehicle, that was travelling in the opposite direction, and directly struck the motorcyclist’s left knee heavily, causing personal injuries. The metal bar/silver bar subsequently landed on the road. The driver of the unidentified vehicle did not stop and left the scene of the accident.
