14.01.2022 THANK YOU & THE END OF MONTHLY MEET UPS After five and a half years of amazing monthly meet-ups, we are sad to tell you that the monthly book club meetings will no longer be running. The All Star Women’s Comic Book Club still exists! We have Facebook page where you can chat about comics, and we have plans to run different events a few times a year. The final meet up will be February 2020. The club is entirely organised and funded by volunteer efforts, and we are no longer ab...le to keep the monthly meetings going. We are incredibly proud of the huge community we have built in over 60 meetings. We have read some amazing books and made lifelong friends. We have had a festival, creator Q&As, movie nights, trivia contests, gift exchanges, and costume parties. Every month we had someone who was attending for the first time, and others who have been here since the beginning. We are always blown away by the enthusiasm, the generosity, and the love everyone brings to our community. We hope we have played a role in bringing more women into a community in the last five years, and that our club has made the comics scene more vibrant and diverse than when we started. We can’t wait to see what comes next! We especially want to thank All Star, who gave us their space, their name, and their unwavering support every step of the way. But most of all, we want to thank all of you, who have made this such an amazing experience that we will be proud of for all our lives. See you all again soon Love the ASWCC team
