12.01.2022 Our Save4Good program in Port Kembla slowed a little due to COVID-19 but we are back on track to reach 1000 homes and small businesses by December 2020. Yep 1000 households! Though the last 200 are going to be hard to contact as most are door to door... we have passed our 500 participant milestone and so far we have given PK residents: Over $52,000 cashback to simply participate in the program. Given away $73,200 worth of energy and water efficient kit; Given out ov...er $100,000 in cashbacks for renewable and sustainable products and saved each house almost $400 per year off their energy bills. One business alone has saved $19,000 per year off their energy costs. We have saved PK residents and small business over $420,000 from retrofits and energy costs this year alone. Talk about economic stimulus! From little things big things grow and grow Thank you Port Kembla for being part of our little sustainability project all thanks to the NSW Government Port Kembla Community Investment Fund, a great community and good team! #weloveportkembla #Save4Good #energyefficiency #sustainability #climateemergency See more
