25.01.2022 We had a call from a customer, his gate wasn’t closing the way it should have been so we attended and gave it a service. We put a new set of magnets on the gate and re-calibrated the unit and it’s as good as new.

24.01.2022 This was a removal and refit of some gate operators! The old ones after some years and a lot of repairs, had given up so we came out and fitted a set of HERMES 200 with battery backup We also programmed an add on receiver to the customers garage doors remotes to operate the new gate system for a 1 touch solution

24.01.2022 Like for like swap over for this customer.

21.01.2022 A cool new set of wireless safety PE beams and new rack as the older rack has seen better days!

18.01.2022 Just another manic Monday. We installed a FAAC C721 on this 5 meter gate with a seperate power supply that was installed back at the house, 45 meters away. The separate power supply is sometimes a more cost-effective way to have automatic gates, as you don’t need to have 240VAC trenched and installed by a licensed electrical contractor from where your house or closest point may be. ... This job also had a vandal proof stainless steel keypad fitted for pedestrian access. See more

18.01.2022 A service on this set of gates revealed some items that needed to be taken care of as a part of preventative maintenance. This was all rectified by our technicians on site and bought back up to a safe level of operation, with no risk of this affecting the operation of the automated system into the future.

18.01.2022 A long day today but we just finished an awesome looking job! Gate and automaton package customised to suit this customer. Black frame 140mm Merbau slats with 20mm spacings, capped with an aluminium cover plate on the top to prevent damage over time from the rollers Integrated with the new intercom system and powered by an FAAC C720 sliding gate operator! ... What an awesome job the fabrication team did on this!

18.01.2022 An older system had a few issues so we had a callout to have a look and get it working again! With one of the S418 operators replaced and a full reset on the control unit it was back in business! Happy customer! ... This was a FAAC S418 double standard system

17.01.2022 A service on this beautiful home and their automated gate system. Call us for servicing and installation.

12.01.2022 FAAC 391 double kit

11.01.2022 After years of neglect unfortunately it was too late for this FAAC C720. It was 11 years old and had never missed a beat! Even though it had never been serviced EVER! So it was time to retire the old girl and replace with some new gear! Quite the difference it made by cleaning up the area and sealing the unit up to prevent nesting under the new unit!

11.01.2022 Look at this beauty! We had a customer contact us wanting an automated gate, intercom and access control keypad. This is what happened! ... The video intercom and keypad work seamlessly together with the FAAC C720 gate motor. Allowing the customer to answer the call from The comfort of his own home and then open or closed the gate from that same internal station! A big thank you to the fabrication team for the gate! Note: The fencing and ground track work are amazing and millimetre perfect! However we can’t take any credit for this as it was all completed by the customer himself! And looks absolutely fantastic!!!

10.01.2022 A service and a firmware upgrade for this awesome looking set of gates with some minor adjustments to the opening speeds and setting. The power of FAAC is amazing!

10.01.2022 A beautiful home has been secured by 2 FAAC C720 sliding gate operators with vandle proof keypads for access without the remote transmitter. This was to replace some older operators that had given up after a number of years

09.01.2022 Called out to commission this FAAC C720 after someone else did the original install with a few hardware changes and some changes to the programming up and running.

06.01.2022 Emergency door release break glass install for a client.

06.01.2022 Service and rack replacement for this beauty! Amazing set up!

06.01.2022 We were called to do a safety upgrade on this new fence and automated gate system. Whilst we were there the owner asked if we could make the garage door work on the same set of remotes that he had just been given for his new gate. We were more than happy to oblige and the requests didn’t stop there, so whilst we put in the PE cells to prevent the gate from closing if there was an obstruction. Because of the gates design and how it rolls back past the pedestrian gate that is o...n the same fence line. The on-site technician and the owner was worried that if the pedestrian gate was anything but closed and locked that the main gate could drive into it, The pedestrian gate damaging both gates. Our experienced technicians ran a magnetic safety switch to the pedestrian gate, so that if it was in any other state but closed and locked the main gate will not operate. See more

04.01.2022 Service called to this beautiful home for an intercom system that was malfunctioning we diagnosed the problem made the repair and the customer was very happy as they had been without an intercom for almost 12 months this System had three indoor stations one on every level and the ability to unlock the doors.

04.01.2022 Had a service call to this lovely home today with a set of FAAC 391 double kit with exit and entry buttons. After seven years in service we have yet another unit that had gone without servicing that has failed. Unfortunately for a number of reasons this particular unit failed due to it being under spec for the requirements needed. The installation was not performed to a very high standard, it was not sealed correctly which had allowed bugs and moisture into the uni...t. I must say still a tremendous effort given the circumstances for it to last as long as it did, that just goes to show the quality that FAAC products are made It is a timely reminder if you are going to get a gate/gates automated, ask your installer about what is required to service and maintain them. Make sure you have them professionally looked over at least every 12 months (more frequently for commercial and industrial applications) Have a safety and health check done on both the automated system and the gate hardware If the installer can’t offer this service find someone who can Don’t let anyone tell you that these units are maintenance free, this is simply not true! Preventative maintenance can save your automated system and hardware. Servicing... it’s no different to servicing a car, when the mechanic tells you that a radiator hose is getting a little soft you get replaced as the cost of that is cheaper than an engine.

03.01.2022 Servicing a FAAC C721 Sliding gate motor. Greasing all appropriate areas of the operator, cleaning around the area that the operator sits in to deter insect nesting, applying long-lasting insect repellent. Making sure the rack and pinion is clear of anything that could possibly cause any damage. ... Checking that all the triggering devices (remote transmitters, intercoms, access control, keypad and loop directors) are operating as designed. Triggering the gate to open and close and test any safety devices that are in place to prevent the gate from moving if it has an obstruction. Checking speed settings and locking systems. Checking slowdown points and meeting hardware.

02.01.2022 Breaking news All Things Low Voltage is now equipped with a mobile eftpos unit to allow easy payment for our customers accepting a wide range of card types.
