03.01.2022 Look at our amazing mumma!! We were told it would be 18 months before she might be able to walk again, and even then, it would always be assisted. She is the strongest, most determined (read stubborn) person we know and nothing will hold her back. She is stronger and fitter than ever. Huge thanks to the team at Forster Private Hospital and @forsteryogastudio for helping her get back on her feet From @forsteryogastudio Meet Teresa Nardi, one of our treasured members in our... Stay Young Yoga classes (chair yoga). Would you believe that 18 months ago she was in hospital and her family @_allthingsyum_ & Bella Bellissimo thought she might never walk again and they’re lucky if she survives. Teresa has been coming to our Stay Young classes for a couple of months now. In the beginning, she would take her walker inside but she doesn’t bother with that anymore. She much rather keeps her chest high and struts into her class without any support these days! Last week she pulled Mia aside and said: I want to hug you! This is incredible! I have not been able to curl up on the floor into child’s pose, but today I did it! You have no idea how amazing this is! We shed some tears together and this is why we wanted to share Teresa’s breakthroughs with you. She feels a lot more confident, she said. She is a lot more flexible and her breathing has improved immensely. Inspired by her yoga classes, she keeps thinking about her posture and her breathing every day, which she feels has been amazing for her confidence.
