19.01.2022 A common question in our salon, here are our top tips for preparing for your next lash appointment (both refills and new sets) : Your lashes have to be CLEAN! Cleanse them with an approved foaming lash cleanser the morning of your appointment and no eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner & eyeshadow). Please don’t drink lots of caffeine before your appointment. Excessive consumption of caffeine can cause your eyelids to flutter A LOT. This means that it can be almost impossible... to safely isolate and apply your new lash extensions. If you have time, visit the bathroom before your appointment! Trust us, when you are laying down for a long time with your eyes closed and you need to go.... it’s almost unbearable! If you are a contact lens wearer, bring your container with you so you can remove them before we start lashing you! The fumes from the adhesive can damage your contacts, so we recommend that you remove them before your treatment. Prepare to RELAX! There aren’t many times these days when you are forced to lay down and do nothing with your eyes closed, so if you want to have a little snooze while having your lashes done, that’s totally fine with us! 16.01.2022 How do you get your lash extensions to last longer? !... It’s one of the biggest steps we see people miss. Too many times, a client will arrive with makeup, dirt and oil residue along the lash line! Makeup, dirt and oil on the natural lashes can act as a barrier to the lash extension adhesive, meaning that a strong, lasting bond between the natural lash and the extension will not be achieved. And depending on the amount of buildup on the lash - we cannot always clean all of it off before we start filling So, if you arrive at the salon with squeaky clean eyes, it means the time we’ve allocated to your appointment is spent solely on filling them back up to their usual fullness.... AND the adhesive bonds will be nice and strong! Voila! Thicker, fuller lashes for longer!
