I recently had the opportunity to treat my amazing mumma to an amazing rejuvenation for her 67th birthday. Completely untouched by the ‘needle’, she allowed me to work my magic and address her concerns in relation to the ageing process. Her wish was to look less tired and less drawn. She also had some concerns about the skin fall and lines around her mouth. I’ve always been in awe of my mum..... a retired primary school teacher, who has always looked after her skin and remained fit and heathy. The plan was to take her on a journey, treating her areas of concern slowly over a month long period. Firstly, I wanted to address her dynamic wrinkles with some muscle relaxants aka ‘tox’ - we treated all 3 areas of the upper face. Forehead, frown and crows feet. In her second session, my goal was to restored the lost volume in her mid-cheeks, improve laugh lines (nasal labial folds) and reduce the pre jowl area of her chin. I used 4mls of specialised contouring filler to lift and shape. Lastly, I returned volume to her lips. Already having an amazing shape, 1ml of medium thickness filler gave her back that youthful pout I have fortunately inherited.
