25.01.2022 For the last 2 and a half years I have had the pleasure of making over 45 cakes for my friends, family and clients. My prices have remained much lower than most cake decorators. As you can appreciate, it is not cheap to bake and decorate a cake. Most cakes I have only made a profit of about $20-40. I love cake decorating but I now cannot justify sacrificing family time with the children, and my other work commitments, for such a small profit for the hours that I put in. Each ...cake takes me approximately 3 hours to prepare and bake, and a further 3-7 hours to ganache and decorate depending on the detail involved. For this reason I will be having a small price increase. I apologise to all my loyal customers. I will attempt to keep my prices at a reasonable and affordable price, but at the moment it is not worth my while earning around $5 an hour for all the hard work I put in.
